This historic home, “The Lewis Ripley House,” is a two-family home which consists of the main house built in 1850 occupied by the hosts and an attached, newly renovated, spotless, private, three-level rental unit that sleeps 6.
The light, airy kitchen/ living room area is an open concept. The kitchen has white quartz countertops, new stainless steel appliances, and a stocked coffee bar with a Keurig coffee maker. The living room boasts a large comfy sofa, a Smart TV, and an electric fireplace to add to the coziness. There is a large deck off the living room with outdoor furniture, an umbrella to shield you from the sun, and a gas grill. The primary bedroom has a king-size, adjustable bed. You can raise the head of the bed to get a better look at the 65-inch Smart TV and electric fireplace. The second bedroom upstairs has a queen bed. A third bedroom downstairs on the lower level has a king-size bed. You can access the downstairs patio and yard from the downstairs bedroom. The full bathroom has a tub/shower and an LED-backlit, antifog bathroom mirror perfect for makeup, shaving, and hair drying. There is hardwood throughout, central a/c., Wifi (300 Mbps -up to 5 devices), and a full-size washer and dryer. There is off-street parking for two cars in the driveway.
You have full access to the entire unit, the large deck, the patio, and the yard.
We are pet friendly! We respect that your pet is part of your family. There is a lot of space for your pet in this unit. The deck has a gate so that your pet can be outside with you without having to worry about them being on a leash. There is a large yard for you to take them out to do their business. We ask that you clean up after your pets inside and outside. The neighborhood is great for taking your dogs on nice long walks. The Chelmsford Dog Park is just half a mile away! If you need to be away for an extended period of time, we are happy to let your dogs out for you or feed them for an extra fee.

This property was just what we needed, there was 6 of us coming from Florida for a family funeral and we did not want hotel rooms. We wanted a place we could be comfortable and be able to socialize. The owners were very accommodating. The house was clean and had everything we needed and more. I highly recommend this place. We have to come back in June for a wedding. Will definitely use this place again.
It was a pleasure to stay here, the home was beautiful inside and out and was very spacious. Also very close to many activities and restaurants. Bill was very nice and attentive, can't wait to book again!

We came into town for a cousin’s wedding and there were very limited options, but we got lucky finding this gem! The house was very clean, and had so many little helpful, thoughtful things we enjoyed. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. Would stay here again when coming back into town.
Property was perfect for our needs! It was a great location if you are running the Baystate marathon. The host was easy to communicate with and provided complete instructions for the use of the house. Two eating establishments in a short walking distance and a yarn store as well!

Home was beautiful! We travel a lot and this home went above and beyond to make sure every detail was covered! Plush towels, coffee station with everything necessary, and even a dog station in yard with poop bags and trash can! Bill helped us with an emergency and was a lifesaver!This place is a gem!
