"My stay met and exceeded my expectations in every way. From my early arrival (in anticipation of a severe storm) and the staffs willingness to hold my luggage until check in, to them happily carrying my luggage to my room-things got off to an impressive start. The hotel is an old beauty, rich in history, cozy and comfortable. My room was beautiful and clean and my bed was so comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the generosity and great service of both the complimentary tea and sweets and the wine and cheese hours. Service was so kind and caring. Top this off with a wonderful full service breakfast and anyone will be absolutely happy that they chose Angel of Sea for their stay in the lovely town of Cape May! PS did I mention that the ocean is right across the street!"

"The staff were professional, attentive and helpful. The room was fine except my room was on the 2nd floor over the car parking area. The floors were very cold, especially the tile in the bathroom. The blower for the heat was very noisy. There was a Festival at the Convention Center so there was a large number of guests. The breakfast items and coffee ran out after 30 minutes with no restocking. Even the coffee available in the lobby ran out with no refills. "
