" We hadn’t stayed in a B&B in years—and never one quite as exceptional as this. Charles and Jill made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Each morning, breakfast felt like a gourmet event, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The grounds were stunning; we loved relaxing on the deck, watching hummingbirds flit through the trees in the peaceful, wooded setting. Just a short walk away, we discovered a secluded hot tub—perfect for unwinding. The rooms were comfortable, and the common areas were cozy and inviting. When we return to the area, there’s no question—we’ll definitely be staying here again."

"This house was just awesome! It was spacious, open and bright, extremely clean and stocked with every single thing we could need or want. We travelled with our 21 and 18 year old and they loved the downstairs space. We all slept well- the beds are very comfortable with nice linens. There were plenty of towels with labeled shelves of towels for bath, hot tub, and beach towels if needed. We cooked several nice dinners and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We played games at the big table, watched movies and enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The house was easy to find, easy to get in to, centrally located and close to town. Orcas was lovely- we hiked, watched the sunset, ate great food, shopped in fun stores and galleries, whale watched and even rented a boat and explored many other islands. We got coffee several times at The Dragonfly, ate breakfast at the Island Skillet, tried the winery and the brewery, had an amazing lunch at Buck Bay Oyster, had a nice dinner at Madrona, and loved the croissants and quiche at Brown Bear. It couldn’t have been a better vacation! Thank you! "

"Our stay at Kristen's Lovers Lane Enchanted Forest Home was overall enjoyable for the short time that we were able to actually able to stay at it! We attended a family destination wedding for the weekend, so our time at the home was very limited except for having breakfast and sleeping there. Check-in was easy, and we had arranged to check in early since we had taken the 12:25 pm ferry from Annacortes. The only thing that we would "ding the house on" and give a little less than excellent score of 4.5 stars would be the lack of mentioning that the house is in the flight path of the take off's of the small plane airport a couple block away! It was just a little scary sometimes to hear the roar/sputter/s of some of the aircraft above the house when you are inside it! Other than the noise from the planes, our Grandsons loved running around in the garden and picking the apples off the trees! And they especially Loved the "Secret Hideaway" just for kids! We had a fantastic 5 days staying at The Orchard at Lovers Lane and Enchanted Forest! Thank You, Kristen!"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The view from the porch is AMAZING. The rooms were great, everything was clean. It was very quiet too which was relaxing. Deer came to the garden all the days we were there and it wasn’t far from things. The only bummer was the TV was very small and only one bedroom had another TV. But overall, we would stay here again!"

"Loved our stay at this cottage! Amazing location right in town with easy access to both sides of the island. The space was perfect for our family—clean, well-equipped, and super comfortable. Great communication with the property manager made everything easy. Highly recommend!"

"We had a great stay! We were three women visiting the island for the first time. The house was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, the location was ideal for walking to restaurants and stores, and the kitchen was very well equipped and stocked. We enjoyed spending time on the patio, and we appreciated the variety of books and games available. Kristen was a very responsive host. We really enjoyed the welcome gift. The only thing that might have improved the stay was if the bedroom blinds were black-out blinds. With the long days in July, it took a little getting used to the bedrooms being light so early in the morning. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again!"
