Only complaint was that we get charged for Resort Fee for things we did not use: pool, weight room. beach."

"It’s a really run down property. Access staircase is rickety and broken with a dirty rug over it and is a trip hazard. The room configuration is strange. The runner inside the room is filthy. The best thing about the property is the caretaker (Jennifer I think?) who is superb! That said, the view is fabulous, the bed was comfortable, and having a fridge and microwave made it nice. Lots of DVDs were available, and the breakfast was adequate. "

"You absolutely need to book this cozy home as soon as you can. We fell in love with it the moment we arrived. The lake view is truly stunning and Marilyn was the perfect host. It was such a relief to see that the photos accurately reflected every part of the home. Everything was spotless (a rare treat!), the kitchen was fully stocked and the neighborhood was peaceful and welcoming. My husband and I loved walking the lake trail and trying the dinner spots Marilyn recommended. We did not mind cooking breakfast each morning with the stunning lake view from the kitchen. It was the perfect getaway for relaxing, unwinding and reconnecting with nature.We loved it so much that we already booked a return trip for the summer. "The place is gorgeous and incredibly well appointed, views spectacular, amenities amazing.The only challege we had was the check in email.I was searching my overly inundated inbox for VRBO, and it came direct from the landlord which I later understood went straight to my junk filter.So - IMHO VRBO should carry that same information or initial check in email on the 'Trip' page.It was after calling a human at VRBO that I was connected directly with the owner (who was amazing btw) This feels like VRBO issue that could easily be resoloved in the automated response.The property and the host we're beyond amazing.Curtis."

The house is perfect in every way - from beautiful views of the lake, lovely comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms along with a well supplied kitchen with every utensil, appliance, pot or pan you’ll ever need to prepare great meals. Kira is a wonderful hostess - excellent communicator in every way from her instructions in the tenant instruction manual to being able to provide answers to your questions quickly and proficiently.I am already planning my trip next year to this little bit of heaven on beautiful Lake Arrowhead.
