"Great location if you are visiting Tikal. The only downside is that most of the rooms do not have AC and the mosquito netting blocks the breeze from the ceiling fan. Because there is no AC, you get the pleasure of hearing the sounds of the jungle all night long and the howler monkeys are very active. Light sleepers may want to bring along some ear plugs."

"My fiance and I loved everything about Las Lagunas! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with drinks and a warm welcome from Brayan. Breakfast every morning with Elmer serving us was great. He was very friendly, personable, and made sure to say goodbye to us before we left. Drinks from Hector tasted amazing! He was also very friendly, personable, and helped us source local items to take home. Our tour guide Sergio was awesome and knowledgeable! We enjoyed having him for both of the tours we did. The food was everything we hoped for as well. Every person we spoke to while there was friendly. The pool was so relaxing, as well as the spa area which we had all to ourselves. We will absolutely be back!!"

"I enjoyed my stay. The staff is great! Food was good. The pool was clean and well maintained. For me the only down side is, they have no hot water. For some this won't be an inconvenience. So, I say I didi like it."

"Excellent location to access Tikal. Pool was amazing! We swam in the rain. The bungalows are incredible. We appreciated having power at night to charge phones, even though the main building turns off their generator. The food is great, staff was kind and patient with our limited Spanish. Netting around the beds was a must for night time, worked well and kept the gnats out. Overall excellent experience and highly recommend staying here to explore Tikal. "
