After a mix-up at the start that the staff corrected immediately we had a great stay and found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The bbq area was also well kept and handy to our room. A hire car was included which we couldn't have done without. It was about 1 km to the main town and a flat walk. Dated rooms. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom door has to slam shut. Needs to be adjusted. Need a dryer in the guest laundry. Daydreamer is handy to town centre and a good base for touring the rest of Norfolk Island. The kitchen was well set up and even a picnic basket with plates, etc, to use for self-catering lunches. The fridge has a deep freeze. There is a microwave and ahe bedroom is big, as is the very comfortable bed. It is lovely to sit outside. The bathroom is spacious and has an excellent shower. The owners and staff are great and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Daydreamer is handy to town and is within walking distance. There is a self laundry and drying area.
