Nice room for price

The bathroom was unappealing to me, everything else was comfortable. Except, there weren't enough outlets in the room so I had to unplug a lamp to charge my phone or unplug the refrigerator to use the microwave.

The room need to be updated and overall.

I will not stay at that day inn again are if my life depending on it. The room need upgrade and painting.

Needs update

Overall not an extremely bad motel. Given that the location is close to the airport, hot breakfast is included every morning, and that the price is relatively inexpensive, it is sort of a bargain for someone who is looking for an affordable accommodation for a short stay in Norfolk. However, I wouldn't mind paying a little more for a cleaner room, a cleaner washroom, especially the bathtub, a better bed, and a place with better appearance. I think a renovation will go a long way for this motel and the management can certainly charge more if the entire motel is updated.

Close to Airport

It was a nice hotel for the price. Clean, fairly quiet, and the shuttle to/from the airport was excellent. I would stay there again.

Close to airport, which was nice, but sink and tub drains would not drain adequately, mold visible and moldy smell in tub/toilet area. Drywall, especially in tub/toilet area needs repaired.

Great location

Pros: It's location...very convenient and close to the airport.

The staff was very friendly and the place was pleasant to view from the street, however, the room was another matter. First thing upon entering the room I noticed the whole face of the air conditioner was off and on the floor. The carpet was dirty and needed to be stretched. The stool never stopped running, the tub was chipped and had an unclean look to it. When leaving the room I noticed the whole wall moved.

Decent...

When I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall appearance. It was relatively updated, included a mini fridge and microwave, and the beds were quite comfortable. Upon further inspection however, the bathroom was not what I would consider clean, especially around/behind the toilet. It didn't smell, so I suppose it could have been stained, but it was pretty unsightly. Aside from that, my only complaint within the room was a very squeaky A.C. that kept me up most of the night, but that only happened once out of our 5 night stay. The continental breakfast was subpar; it never changed and consisted of coffee and juice, cereal, bread, excessively bruised apples, yogurt, and very odd cheese omelets. (My husband tried them against my advisement and was unimpressed to say the least!) There were also waffles, which were the saving grace for my 5 year old. He did enjoy them! Our stay overall was, like I said, decent. There are definitely areas that could use some improvement, but it wasn't terrible on a whole.
