I absolutely adore staying at the Kipton. The location, staff, and amenities were all top-notch. The room had an unusual smell when we first arrived, but we quickly got used to it. It was a great bonus that the Revival was on-site. We had a fantastic time there.

Convenient location to see the A’s at Sutter Health stadium but not very clean and the breakfast was just okay.

Seems to have gone downhill. We have stopped here multiple times over the years on our road trips and it was always pretty good, this time was not so good. First, I emailed them after I booked it to add my Hilton honors account, but when I got there it was obvious they did not do that as I could not use the internet without paying. Then we needed an extra towel and an extra set of bedding but it took over an hour to get, we had to call front desk 3 times and go down there to try to get one. Finally someone brought it to us after we'd given up and gone to bed later than planned, they gave us a fat stack of towels and one extra blanket, not even what we asked for. Then the pathetic bathroom "door" broke and we couldn't use it, my kids had to crawl in and out to use it because it's one of those useless sliding barn doors. On top of that, the ice machine was broken on our floor. It was still pretty clean outside of some hair in the shower, but we're not likely to return sadly.
