The room was very clean and the bedding was very comfortable. The stairs leading to our room were very steep. Our room was situated separate from the other rooms. Assistance was needed to carry luggage upstairs and these stairs could be deemed as challenging for the elderly and people with special needs. The staff are very friendly. If you enjoy animals you will like their little dogs and cat. To avoid waiting at checkout, discuss preferred payment method during your stay. Breakfast was good - eggs, toast, ham, fruit, juice and coffee/tea.

De Cuba is charming with a couple of little dogs, a bird in a cage and a kitten in another that frequently is let out for hugs. My daughter is a Yogi and has asked Kathleen about having a yoga retreat next year.

Nice place to stay, specially if you like to see the whole island, not just hotels at the beach with many tourist. Very clean rooms and friendly owners and staff. Car is usefull if you stay here. Thank you!

The property and facilities were great. The interior decor was beautiful. Breakfast was made fresh whether we were up early or late. The owners were very welcoming and treated us like family. We’ll definitely go back.

Rent och trevligt BB. Vi var dock de enda gästerna så lite tomt. Rummen är OK, man bor i huset som familjen äger. Trevliga ägare, ganska dött område. 30-40 min promenad till Palm Beach

Towels, mattresses and sheets are all filthy with stains all over them and when I complained to the owner she said to "Don't worry these are clean stains"!! there is no hot water in the shower "It is Aruba and hot water in the shower is not needed per the owner" shampoo is not provided. the place is full with mosquitoes inside and outside. you will be given a key for the main gate which is very difficult to lock and unlock as the metal door is unbalanced. This property is bed without breakfast as there is a charge for the breakfast $10 per person. I would not recommend this property to any one. Pay a little extra and go somewhere else.

Like home

Extremely helpful staff that makes you feel right at home. Very beautiful and cozy pool garden. Everything went smooth and the family will gladly help you with anything. Moreover, this area of Aruba is much nicer staying at rather than the resort areas. Strongly recommend!

Welcome to Aruba!

The B&B is in a residential area so when you first drive up, you're not sure if it is the place. Walk thru the gate and all doubts about the place fade. You walk thru a small garden into the common area where the host has tons of trinkets. She also has an impressive rum display. After walking thru the common area you walk out into the pool patio. It is a nice oasis. Complete with a hammock, water slide, tables and chairs, and the host's pets. There is a cat, 2 dachshunds, a macaw, and a lovebird. Climbing a smallish staircase you enter the room we stayed in. It has a spacious main room with a full kitchen, dining area, and living room. Off the main rom is a large bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom has its own A/C and tv. The balcony overlooks the pool and is a perfect place to take in a glorious sunrise.

Pleasant Retreat Off The Beaten Path

Kathleen was a very gracious and accommodating host! From the moment girlfriend I arrived, she ensured that we felt welcomed with a warm and hospitable smile, and continued to make sure we were taken care of comfortable through the duration of our stay. Definitely recommend renting a vehicle so that you don't have to constantly pay for taxis, since this is a few miles away from the big tourist areas. Perfect if you like peace and quiet on your getaways. Overall great stay!

Bad experience

We were met by the owner to find out she had cancelled our reservation. We had no email or other documents indicating this from her. She sent us out not even letting us use internet to book elsewhere. This was all with a litigitamite hotels.com booking.
