With 260 m long and 20 m wide, this low occupancy beach, rugged terrain, away from towns and surrounded by marine reserves, is a magnificent place for hiking, diving, diving, canoeing, nudism, touring the Cabo Natural Park de Gata by bicycle, nautical activities, etc. To your right and moving towards Aguamarga, on a fascinating hiking trail we can find Cala de Enmedio and to your left we will access by a path towards Cala San Pedro, towards Las Negras. The nearest marina is San José, although not much further away is Carboneras. La casa está bien y el dueño muy amable. Al ir con placas solares pues no hay electrodomésticos eléctricos. Sólo hay que tenerlo en cuenta. La casa se encuentra directamente al mar. Hay algunas pocas vecinos pero aparte de esto la casa está en pura naturaleza! El propietario (Francisco) se cuida mucho de la casa y nos ha dado la comunicación con él es muy conveniente. Por las noches refrescaba pero Francisco nos dejó leña y todo lo necesario para encender. Aparte del ruido del mar y muchos pájaros, silencio total. Aunque hay vecinos, sólo son compañía, no interfieren en absoluto. Por las noches refrescaba pero el propietario (Francisco) nos dejó leña y todo lo necesario para encender. Tuvimos un incidente con las placas solares que él se ocupó de resolver inmediatamente. Hemos recorrido diferentes alojamientos, y la verdad que este parque natural cuenta con enclaves muy bonitos, pero la casa de la Cala del Plomo es diferente, única....... Hemos disfrutado cada uno de los desayunos en una terraza donde casi tocas el mar con la mano, (literalmente la casa está a 150 pasos de la pequeña y acogedora cala). Desde aquí solemos hacer alguna excursión, la fija es un paseo a la cala de enmedio, otro placer oculto que nos sigue sorprendiendo, y otras veces nos dirigimos monte a través a la cala de San Pedro. Tanto a Cris como a mí, nos gusta coger el kayak dirección cala del Puente hasta la cala de San Pedro y sobrecogernos con sus claros fondos marinos, las altas piedras que nacen del agua y las cuevas formadas por los incansables golpes de las olas.... Solemos ir en invierno, así que las noches las pasamos junto a la chimenea..... La verdad, le tenemos bastante envidia a Francis. ##### Javier E. Exceptuando que nos hizo nublado un par de días, pudimos disfrutar de una playa envidiable y de una tranquilidad absoluta. Hicimos senderismo a Cala de Enmedio(espectacular también). Pudimos disfrutar de las piraguas que tiene la casa porque el agua estaba muy limpia para hacer buceo. Solo salimos de la Cala una noche para ir a cenar al pueblo de al lado, Aguamarga. Se nos presentaron unas cuantas arañas y varios bichos, pero a destacar una araña Lobo bastante grandecita y un par de Escolopendras (ambas especies venenosas). Por lo que pudimos leer sobre estos últimos, suelen estar en lugares donde no hay mucha higiene y humedad. Y en este caso, dónde sólo se limpia cuando llega el momento de entregar una casa. Los baños, cocina y algunos rincones de la casa estaban bastante sucios. Se nota cuando hay una limpieza a fondo y cuando no. Estuvimos una sola noche. No estábamos a gusto pensando en que pudiera pasar algo, íbamos con una niña de 4 años y un perro pequeño. Imaginad que hubiera pasado si pica una escolopendra a mi hija en medio de la playa del plomo, entre montañas, con un camino de tierra y piedras sin iluminación de 13km hasta el camino asfaltado de aguamarga... (otra cosa que no se comenta en el anuncio). Con la ducha era imposible conseguir agua caliente, y se intentó de todas las maneras. Tuvimos que marchar a un Hotel de Aguamarga los tres días restantes. Intentamos hablar con el dueño para llegar a una solución y pasó totalmente de nosotros, excusándose en que fue algo esporádico. ##### Cristina G. Lugar ideal para ir con niños o animales. Es ideal para disfrutar tanto en verano como en invierno. Nosotros ya hemos estado en todas las épocas del año y pensamos seguir yendo. La casa tiene todas las comodidades pero, a la vez, te sientes libre dentro de la naturaleza. El dueño es muy amable, te facilita todo lo que necesites pero no está encima.
