"We booked for 6 people but neither bed settee was made up. We eventually found some duvets and pillows but no clean sheets so opened a packet of new sheets we found in a room in the basement. The same with towels.The washing machine was on with a load of washing in it full of water. There was a pile of dirty bedding in a room in the basement. There were no instructions in the flat at all .The lights and other electrical systems were ridiculously complicated. Also no instructions about hot water...

"This was our first time visiting Germany and the house was as pictured. Our family of 8 fit comfortably. We had to ask for a few appliances that were listed in description (toaster and microwave) and the host responded promptly and dropped off the requested items. We ate a the local pizza place and it was delicious. We were close enough to multiple bigger cities and enjoyed those as well (Frankfurt, Cologne, Ramstein, Bad Kreuznach, Kaiserslautern).
