Over night stop on our 6 week tour.
We stayed here for just 1 night on our way to our next week's stay on the Mosel. This hotel is very nice with nice friendly staff and a good choice of breakfast food and drink including free champagne with your breakfast. Lots of people there seemed to like a glass or two of the champagne but unfortunately for me riding our motorcycle drink and motorcycles don't mix so I had to give that one a miss as did my wife who is my passenger. The little town has many restaurants for eating out and good food seems to be everywhere all in all a great nights stay.

Large, spacious modern hotel room with large windows & countryside village views. Very helpful friendly staff with amazing customer service. I couldn't get my heavy suitcase up their entrance steps so they carried it for me & they refunded me for dates that I booked by mistake. I used my own small heater as there's wasn't strong enough for me. Overall, a highly recommended hotel!

There is no bias: the truth!!! The check in was quick and easy. When we got to the room for a 4 star hotel there was no ac and the temperature at the time was 30C (august). There was a foul smell coming from the carpet as well. We had to change rooms because the fridge wasn’t working and there was cobwebs in the corners like the room hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. The bed was like the springs was beaten over time. For the duration of our stay we changed room 3 times. Fortunately, we had a nice gentleman receptionist who was sympathetic with our situation and tried to give us the best solutions. Breakfast was okay and the issue of one staff working 4 different locations at a time is frustrating as the costumer you feel guilty to ask for help. No Gym. No pool. Only free parking. Be ware of church bells 24/7.

Dissapointed that there is no restaurant facility at hotel. Limited room service available or go to a nearby hotel for dinner. This is not normal for a 4 star hotel.

A pleasant hotel
This hotel is located in a charming town and is not too difficult to find if one uses GPS otherwise would be difficult. Unfortunately it was covered in scaffolding and had no signage so we drove past it a couple of times - it had also morphed from a Mercure to new ownership and a new name which didn't help. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff helpful and courteous. The biggest drawback is that there is no restaurant for dining and one has to go out for an evening meal. After a long drive this not ideal especially in wintry weather. There are also several churches in the town all of which have bell ringing loudly at different times. Definitely need to request a room on the side away from the church!

A pleasant Hotel in quiet french town.
Pleasant hotel in this lovely town. Good parking, nice garden and surrounds, whilst the interior ground floor of the reception area is comfortable in the surroundings. The staff go out of there way to help. For most of the year the interior would be very cosy, but the hotel rooms do not cope with warm to hot weather. The small room was pleasantly furnished, but the small refrigerator supplied did not cope in keeping anything cool. During our stay the room continued to stay very warm with little ventilation, even with the widow wide open. I may be in error, but I found the advertised standard double room size of 24 sq m's, at odds with the room size we had paid for and stayed in. A few days earlier at another hotel, we had stayed in a advertised room of 22 sq m's which was much larger in size, whilst we have continued our trip and are currently staying in a room of 15 sq m's which I consider to be of similar size. The wifi was free and very good in the hotel. Reasonable value for money and they should be thankful for such good staff.

A little out of the way but nice
Rooms on the upper most floor have no A/C, so there are moskitos keeping you up at night. Try to get a room with A/C. The rooms are clean and standard hotel execution. This is not a place with french country charme. If you want to gamble at the casino down the road, which belongs to the hotel, then this is your place.

Suprisingly good!
I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel for a long weekend and thought this would be reasonable - it was and more besides. The rooms were very well proportioned with high ceilings but very light (but with those wonderful French electric blackout shutters) and exceptionally clean. A good sized bed with plenty of room to move around, lcd tv and a balcony in what seems to be every room. The bathrooms were spacious too and, again, very well fitted and very clean. Breakfast was a highlight of each day of the stay. Although the range was not immense, everything was fresh and appealing. Cereals, fruiy and yoghurts as you would expect but also a range of beautiful breads and miniature croissants and pain au raisin. Unusually, there were also lovely creamy scrambled eggs as well as bacon and (one day only) miniature smoked sausage. It is worth noting that the advertised casino is in a completely different building about a five minute walk away - it is not in the hotel grounds. Overall a lovely place for restful stay at a reasonable price.

Wir waren wg. Einer Hochzeit im Filippo. Feierlocation nur 200 m entfernt. Schade ist dass das Hotel keine Klimaanlage hat. Frühstück ok. Nicht deluxe aber umfangreicher als üblich in Frankreich

Excellent hôtel. Chambre très confortable. Un petit point négatif, il n'y a pas de clim et la température ce jour là était tres élevée. Pas de ventilateur proposé. Petit déjeuner tres tres bon, copieux, varié, et produits frais.

Cafard dans la douche, porte d'accès à la chambre trop lourde pour une personne âgée, ascenseur minuscule, impossible de rentrer avec personne en déambulateur et accompagnant, odeur nauséabonde des canalisations Grand escalier sanq ascenseur pour arriver à la réception, pas idéal pour personne âgée mais on m'avait prévenu quand j'ai demandé. Cela devrait être précisé sur la fiche hôtel! Personnel souriant, bonne literie

FUYEZ !!!! "Hôtel" médiocre et sale
Hôtel très vieillissant de qualité plus que médiocre, tout simplement indigne d’un hôtel 4 étoiles ! La literie est de très mauvaise qualité (ressorts qui vous rentrent dans le dos à peine dans le lit – après une nuit horrible mon conjoint et moi avons très mal au dos et la nuque), moisissures et saletés visibles partout dans la chambre, infiltrations d’eau visibles au plafond et au mur, moutons de poussière accumulés dans le sèche-cheveux (voir photos en pièces jointes). Aucune prise électrique à proximité du lit dans la chambre. Pas de bouteilles d’eau à l’arrivée. Le petit déjeuner est infâme, tout est industriel (le jus d’orange est imbuvable, les « fruits » sortent d’une boîte de conserve), même la baguette est immangeable. Un mot résume parfaitement la situation: nul !!! Cet hôtel « 4 étoiles » est une véritable honte pour la profession (l’hôtel ne mérite même pas une étoile). Fuyez!!!
