Nice rendezvous
Business trip, the hotel is literally at the train station (2 min away) so very convenient. The noise from the trains in my room was noticable although I'm ok with that , needed to be woken up in the morning anyway. Basic breakfast buffet, ticked all the boxes. Parking is 5 min away at the train station, overnight cost is min 20 euro unless you find a parking space on the street near the hotel.

The AC was amazing, it was sooo nice to go in the room. The wifi was good but I had to sign in every time to use it, my shower faucet was broken so I just decided to shower at the next hotel instead of reporting it. Location was good.

Amazing value next to train station
What a nice surprise this hotel was! Such a good value - our room had a balcony, bathtub, and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in while in Europe. Everything was clean and check in was a breeze. You’re right by the train station/ tram line which is quite convenient but keep in mind there will probably be some noise.

This hotel is in a great central location but that’s about it. Our room had visible water damage on the walls in both the room and washroom, also there was mold in the AC vent. We checked into our room, dropped off our stuff and hit the town, we didn’t get back until late in the evening so we didn’t bring the issue with the hotel staff. Upon checking out, we brought up the water damage and mold to the hotel staff; just to let them know that we weren’t thrilled with our stay but since we were in Nice for only 2 nights we wanted to make the most of it and we weren’t in our room very much. I showed the photos to the manager who was absolutely shocked, however instead of saying sorry or anything like that, she told us the mold and water damage was our fault as this was the first time she was hearing about such a thing. She also told us that if we didn’t like the room, we should’ve told her before so she could refund our money and we could find somewhere else to stay and “during such a busy time good luck”. The manager at this hotel is horrible, she began by blaming us for the damage, then housekeeping for not telling her about it, and lastly, the building itself for being old and some damage is “inevitable”. Once we got back I reached out to Expedia about our stay, they were super helpful and offered us a credit which is great, however, they reached out to the hotel and they denied any mold or damage.

Too Expensive and rude reception staff
this hotel takes advantage of tourists who are desperate to get a hotel room and therefore pays a rate that is far too high for what it is. Rooms are old, carpet is dirty and staff is rude and arrogant. Lots of guests had problems with broken showers, blocked drains and generally talked about the lack of cleanliness..

Disappointing, run-down hotel with bad service
rundown hotel that charges far too much. Reception staff rude and non-interested. Cleaning staff didn't speak English nor French. Shower didn't work. Carpet greasy and food stains on curtain. Bed was okay but generally a disappointing stay and one feels bad having paid that much.

The hotel is fine, the rooms are very simple. My complaint is that the room had a coffee machine but we were not able to make any coffee because there were no coffee capsules in the room. On our first day we went to the reception to ask for some coffee capsules and were told that the coffee "isn't for every day". Huh? This is a joke!! So cheap... Not happy at all! Little things like this can make a big difference, but at this hotel they are greedy and don't care. We will not stay there again because this hotel doesn't care about their customers.

The location was good 5 mins to the station so we could go along the Cote D'azur to other places, tram stop outside hotel to get to the beach/old town. Room is basic but has everything you need, carpet & bedding did have some stains on

Very surprising! I expected less based on previous reviews. Room is tiny, but that is typical for hotels in Europe. Staff was great and Wifi actually worked!

Central location, good double glazing so you don't hear trains/trams but they're nearby for getting around town and beyond. Friendly reception team and cleaners. Only criticism is only a paper cup was provided for hot drinks and it wasn't restocked the following day. Towels replaced though even though I'd hung them up to use again.

Great train station location
Right on the doorstep of the trainstation. Room was lovely and clean with a good sized bathroom and drinking making facility. The bed was very comfy!

The hotel itself was absolutely fine. The reception staff were very attentive and polite, and spoke very good English. Everything was clean and well presented, maybe a little dated? But sufficient. There were very few English speaking channels on the television to watch. I paid for breakfast one morning but there wasn’t a huge amount of choice for the price. There was no juice in the machine and no milk for tea and coffee. The area let’s this down. It’s opposite the train station which seems to attract an undesirable sort of pestering person. But there’s nothing the hotel can do about that.

Great location
Hotel is right by the train station so it was very easy to find. It's on the main strip which was convenient to get to the beach and around. The room was great! Bathrooms are nice, clean and modern & the beds were super comfy. Would definitely recommend.

Good place in a pinch in Nice by Train Station
Location is great. Vending machine broken for entire stay, but that can be fixed. Otherwise, location by train station and next to many stores and restaurants is ideal, and service was very good. Front desk very polite and very helpful.

For a 3-star hotel it is Excellent. Fresh towels, shampoo/soap, etc. as well room cleaning is done every day. The hotel is not located in the close proximity to the beach, but it trades it well with being in the heart of the shopping area, train station for quick getaways to Cannes or Monaco for those willing to tick additional destinations from the must-visit travel list. Can't say anything about the 12EUR breakfast offered on the 1st floor until 10:30 as I preferred to dine in numerous beach restaurants and terraces. My room was small, but very cosy and it didn't feel small at all. Large balcony with a view, temperature control, free coffee/tea/biscuit in the room is a pleasant plus. And the sleep in the soft bed was like a dream.

Amazing price, amazing room
Either it's because of the amount of competition nearby, or maybe because the trains run in front of the hotel, but the fact of the matter is, I was shocked at how new and clean and overall excellent this hotel is for the price. The staff at the front desk both at night and in the morning were incredibly accommodating and helpful. The room is huge by European standards, and immaculately clean. The bathroom is large is well, and even the shower is big enough to turn around in, which is uncommon in French hotels in my experience. The room had a kettle with instant coffee and tea, and the cable for the TV had some English channels, such as BBC world. All of the fixtures in the halls and in the rooms looked new, and to be perfectly honest, in Canada, a hotel this nice would have cost twice as much, maybe more. The tracks for the TGV and the intercity trains do run directly in front of the hotel, but I did not find that they disturbed my sleep. I don't know if the trains run 24 hours a day, but it wasn't a problem with the windows closed. Hotel Kyriad is located less than a block away from Gare de Nice. Lots of nice restaurants in the area. There was plenty of linen in the washroom, a big wardrobe for clothes in the sleeping area with a safe inside if you need to store your valuables, and fast reliable Wi-Fi. I have spent almost a week in France now on this trip, and so far Hotel Kyriad has been my best hotel experience yet.

Right by the railway station with the trams right outside. Lots of restaurants around and the room was quiet and comfortable. Staff are helpful and speak English too. BBC and CNN are available if you need a tv fix.
