Nguru Beach

There was no where to park while you checked in. The hotel parking was full. I had to wait down the street then we parked in a parkade and had to walk to the hotel to check in. It was winter . The place did not look as advertised. Cracked floor tiles, rather dingy carpet. Kitchen and bathroom cupboards water stained. There was no spa . The pool was ok nice length but it was up several flights of grotty stairs and the ceiling over the pool was low and dimly lit. On top of that the Wifi was completely unreliable until the front desk clerk brought up a modem. I never write reviews but i had to this time. It was very disappointing after a long drive .

Hands down The Burbury Hotel remains a chic hotel and apartment stay in Canberra . Located in a vibrant governmental area of Barton with top notch restaurants and eateries at your call. Very reasonably priced for high bed accommodation. Also the gym is super modern. Just steps away from lake walks. 5 stars all the way.
