Staff is friendly and we also got a free upgrade to a room with the garden and hills view. There's a campfire outside the hotel each night. The hotel is about 15 mins drive away from the jiuzhaigou entry and you can easily catch a taxi from there. The hotel is new and the rooms are comfortable and quite luxurious. The buffet restaurant is a nice environment but the breakfast/dinner food standard was just ok. Staff were good and spoke English.
