The Newton Navarro Bridge is a monumental construction that soars across the picturesque Potengi River. A spectacular work of engineering, the structure is among the largest cable bridges in Brazil. Drive across it on your way to Natal from the Natal International Airport and appreciate its panoramic vista of the ocean and the surrounding beaches.
Capture photos of this iconic bridge, which is recognizable by the large twin pillars at its core. The structure is 5,840 feet (1,780 metres) long and 72 feet (22 metres) wide. Gaze up at the bridge at night, when it is illuminated with bright streetlights against the dark sky.
