About this property

Thorn Cottage. A quaint 300 year old cottage in a rural village. Dog friendly

  • Thorn cottage is a quaint 300 year old cottage set in the rural village of Combeinteignhead, which is close to the River Teign, Teignmouth, Shaldon and Torquay beaches and Dartmoor. The river Teign is 10 minutes walk away, Shaldon and Teignmouth beaches a 10 minutes drive. Dartmoor a 20 minutes drive. There are beautiful walks for your four legged friends from the village and have beautiful views over the Teign Estuary. There are excellent local pubs in walking distance.
    The cottage has two double bedrooms, one with a four poster bed, a double bedroom and a bed settee in the living room.
    It has a beautiful appointed large kitchen/diner with granite worktops. Washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and large range oven.
    The living room has a wood burning log fire and storage heater and has a smart TV and DVD player. Wifi (unlimited downloads).
    There is private parking in front of the cottage.
    In the court yard there is a barbecue and furniture for outside dining. It is a lovely sun trap. Also has an outside toilet.
    The bathroom has a large shower and roll top claw foot bath.
