The lodge is bigger than it looks in the listing, comfortable and very well equipped (tea, coffee facilities, toiletries, games and books). I was slightly concerned about the proximity to the road initially, but it is very well screened by the trees and sound proofing is excellent. Modern, clean, bright accomodation with so many finishing touches to make your stay perfect. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Exceptionally dog friendly, enclosed garden right next to your own parking area, a separate utility area for dirty dogs /shoes etc and a wide open space to walk in if needed. The accommodation was very clean with all furnishings provided being comfortable. Rose & Adrian even allow the use of there Sky movie channel. The beds are also extremely comfortable, even my Mother in law was very pleased. Everything was provided by Rose & Adrian that being enough towels, tea towels and all the basic essentials that you need. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful rural location then this is the lodge you will want. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay taking the mother in law away. You have Plenty of choices in Newton abbot to visit attractions or you can visit the coast, that being a 25minute drive from lodge to Paignton or Dawlish Warren. Rose and Adrian have thought about every detail so that you don’t have to bring your whole house with you! It is spotlessly clean, and has a lovely big garden with access to the main meadow. It’s close to the most beautiful beaches as well as Dartmouth and good places to eat. We can definitely recommend eating at The Crab Shack and booking the Devon Sea Safari at Teignmouth. You could wish for nothing more, and so convenient for visiting the coast and the moors. Numerous items supplied in the shed for kiddies, fishing gear, body boards, crabbing gear, even a pizza oven and barbecue. Our dog loved the enclosed garden, and the field out front for his morning romps. Rose and Adrian are wonderful hosts, only next door and at the end of the phone should you need to ask anything. It was immaculately clean and was a complete home from home. Everything you need was provided in this property and it was very peaceful. Having the field next to the property was ideal for early morning dog walks, before then heading out to local beaches or forests. The hosts who lived next door, were lovely and were available for anything, not that we needed anything from them. Only downside was that we had to come home. ##### Kara T.
