"The property was nice as well as the staff. My 13 year old grandson who is a swimmer was disappointed at the size of the pool. Our room was nice. I would stay there again."

"The stay was pleasant and served its purpose for the price. The lady in charge, I’m guessing the owner, was very accommodating. She made my family visit a nice one going the extra mile. "
"The home really felt like a home-away-from-home with everything a family would need. The home was spacious and comfortable-nestled in a quiet neighborhood-providing a much-needed reprieve from the outside hustle and bustle."

"My daughter and I stayed for three nights for her basketball tournament. It was more spacious and quieter than the busy hotels and convenient to everything in Newport News and a quick 10-min ride to Hampton. Very clean, fun decor, and the kitchen had what we needed for a few simple meals. Shower, washer and dryer all worked well. Plus easy check in and out and great communication with the host.We ended up sharing a bed as the couch and living room setup are not comfy for sleeping and get very bright early in the morning. The staff and coffee at Corkscrews & Brews were great. They open late on Sat and were closed on Sunday though! "
"Great place in a convenient location. There is a pizza place, a restaurant and a brewery all located right there. The apartment is clean, well appointed, and a comfortable place to stay. It does have a sofa bed for additional guest, but there are no blinds or curtains in that room so be prepared to be up at the crack of dawn. "
