Perfect for Darker Waves Festival
The place is cozy and worked out just fine. We had some issues getting the door to unlock and no one was answering out calls. Luckily after about 20 minutes it finally worked. We didn’t hear back from the hosts for over an hour and that would have been a long time to be chilling outside. Garage was good for out car.. had a hard time finding the trash bins. Was not just us. Lots of people wandering around trying to figure out where they were. There wasn’t a manual that we could find in the place even though it’s referenced a few times but we figured it all out. The overhead fan in the master doesn’t work. You can hear the motor but the blades don’t spin. Luckily the weather was nice. Would stay here again. Good spot for Newport/Huntington. Easy to find and plenty of street parking if you beat the surfers to them. :)

Close to the beach
My family and I really enjoyed how close this condo was to the beach and that it had a garage, which is rare to find in some of these beach condos. The garage was shared w/ the other tenants but it fit our truck perfectly and there small suv. It was nice having plenty of beds and 3 bedrooms.The owner also left sand toys, two beach chairs and had some boogie boards for teens and kids, which was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. A couple of the burners did not work and the lights in the two back bedrooms were connected to the same remote, so one would turn on and off the two separate bedrooms. Small fixes, but overall great location and fun place to stay.

The condo was set up nicely for adult family members. I had some difficulties becauseI had a broken ankle and the stairs were an issue going up and down, and the bathroom was cramped when you are mobility-limited. But we made it work fine. The TV in the living room could be bigger. And directions on the coffee maker, as you can only run it with an app that had to be downloaded. Other than that, everything was fine.

Needs some TLC
It’s the small things that can make a big impact. Very little attention to detail has been afforded to this lovely quiet condo in a less crowded area very close to the beach. The description should be much clearer and mention the following: No bar soap, no Kleenex, cheap linens, cutting knives aren’t sharp enough to cut a , stove has a missing knob and no handle to open the oven door, no oven mitts, one single dish towel, limited cooking dishes/pots/pans, no cookie sheet, no hand towels or washcloths, no non-slip bath/floor matt, broken or missing shelves in the refrigerator. Dish washer “on”button is broken, needed a knife to push it on. Patio deck BBQ grill worked but is rusting and falling apart, couch cushions missing on patio deck, no water hose or tub to rinse off feet from the beach. The place has potential certainly but really poorly managed. The owner is responsive via text, well-intentioned, attempting to handle my requests speedily by ordering stuff on Amazon (grill tools and Boogie boards arrived, never got the can opener or oven mitts). Owner faults the maid for not letting him know about all of these problems. A piece of advice: get a property management company. But we still enjoyed our stay!

Beach fun!
Great space with the living area, kitchen and three large bedrooms. Plenty of needed supplies and beach accessories. Nice to have a garage parking spot! Great beach access!

Ocean View on a Family Budget
Everything you need, instacart will deliver, a true "hop, skip 'n a jump" from the ocean. Super clean, fully updated kitchen. Plenty of beds and space.

Great Value - Cute place!
Don’t listen to the negative review in this property. As an investor, I’ve seen some guests just never be happy and that review sounds like they were some of those people. If someone wants luxury style living, then they need to go pay luxury prices. This house has PLENTY of towels, silverware, plates, cups, cookware, etc. This isn’t a fully remodeled beach condo, it is partially remodeled and super cozy. You can’t get a better space for the cost as you’re literally right on the beach with direct access to the sand. Only awareness was that there was a knob missing on the stove. Unless you plan on cooking large meals every night, you won’t notice it. All in all, we had 6 people (3 adults and 3 children) and this space accommodated us perfectly. Great experience!

Don’t Stay Here
It has taken me a while to post this review. I didn’t want to post a review and be angry. My family and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend 2021. The area itself is very nice the proximity to the beach is great. And that’s the only good things I have to say.The property was so dirty when we walked in we didn’t want to stay but because it was Labor Day weekend there was no other place to go. It has very few amenities only one bath towel per person no hand towels or wash cloths, no bathmats. I went to Walmart and bought for washcloths so at least we could wash our face. the sheets and bedding look like they are for a child’s room and they were very dirty. The beds are not comfortable. I agree with everything Kim M. said in her review. The road noise from the PCH was loud at night. The kitchen was so dirty. the dishwasher did not work half the time I emailed JASON the host and never got a response. There are not enough silverware nor cups. There’s food splattered all over the ceiling in the kitchen and above the sofa. The furnishings look like they got them at a rummage sale. You sit on the sofa you fall to the floor and the faux leather it’s peeling off. The dining room chairs are sticky with food. The front door lock only locks with the deadbolt and if you don’t deadbolt it the door flies open. I know JASON has responded in previous reviews that he is going to fix these things but he obviously has not. With a little TLC or actually a lot of TLC, and a trip to Walmart this place could be nice. But as it stands right now it’s far from it. My whole family was very disappointed and it put a damper on our whole trip.

Our Favorite Location in Newport Beach
The property was everything we'd hoped for. The owner really streamlined the check-in/check-out process... could not have been easier. The ocean breezes coursing through the villa were totally embracing. The neighborhood is inviting, friendly. The family that was supposed to show up ended up cancelling due to CoVid, but next time, when we have our family group together in NB, we will be looking this place up again.

SoCal beachiness! Great location, well laid out condo, well equipped kitchen, accomodating owner.
Location, location, location! If you are into beach and the majesty of surfable waves, this place is amazing. A well worn beach condo with some upgraded areas. Kitchen is well equipped. Some of the furniture is well worn. It was clean! The owner was accomodating and delivered some brand new appliances, a pak and play and a high chair and recommendations for things to do with kids. We would stay there again. Thank you, Jason.

A Terrific Weekend
We had a great time in this lovely home over the long holiday weekend! The house had everything we needed. With a 3 year old and 5 year old, we were not looking to be in the Busy Newport Pier area. This was perfect! And we were still only a few miles away to pick up lunch and/or donuts from our favorite eateries. The roof top deck is over a detached garage so it’s not super convenient, but we enjoyed it just the same and ate dinner up there every evening. My only word of advice is to pack your patience for parking if you are considering this property! Having one spot in the garage was very much appreciated, but finding parking for our second car was difficult. However, once parked, all was well and we had a lovely time! I would definitely stay here again.

Great property for the price just a few small issues.
House inside was as pictured and very nice for the price. Clean and had everthing you needed. Great view of the ocean at kitchen bar. Patio deck was not very accessible and out of the way - no great view from there. We just used it to grill real quick. And at check in message said don't use it after dark which you wouldn't want to because there is not lighting. Didn't have a hose for getting sand off feet so that was a bit of a problem. Called the owner and he quickly sent hose through Amazon but then hook up for hose didn't work. Got back to owner but problem was never resolved. Also had issue with dishwasher and leak under the kitchen sink that was kind of a pain. And tv through out house didn't hook to cable but especially the main room tv would go in and out with picture every 10 mintues or so - basically couldn't watch tv the whole trip problem was never resolved. Owner responded to text about issue but it was never fixed.

Very clean and tidy home. Very close to the beach
The home is very nice with plenty of space for all. Beach is a 1 minute walk, Huntington Beach is just a few minutes away. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Very reasonable rates, highly recommended.

Great Location, can't wait to go back
We had a wonderful 3 day weekend in this home. We enjoyed the deck over the garage and the ocean breezes that flow through this upstairs unit. The location is wonderful! Walking distance to a few good restaurants and a quick uber ride to Balboa area with tons of restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back!

This house didn’t disappoint! The pictures matched the house, the location was steps from the beach and a short Uber ride to the pier. The owner was very responsive and helpful when we had questions or issues. Would totally stay here again.

Perfect place to stay for beach!
Perfect house for us! We walked to the beach! Then at night we went out to a few of the restaurants and bars. Nothing was too far away we couldn't get an uber. Went to Pacific city for some shopping, Huntington Beach for some live music, and downtown Newport! Thank you for the amazing stay!

Gorgeous Ocean View For Sure
The location was perfect!! We could see the beach and the ocean from the condo. We spent many hours on the beach watching surfers, dogs playing, and kiteboarding. The sunsets were amazing!!! We had a great week with perfect temperatures. The condo is a spacious 3 bed, 2 bath, with a fully equipped kitchen. We were close to everything there is to do in Newport and Balboa and 15 minutes at the most, from the airport. We will definitely be back.

Close to the beach, but not super comfortable
The pros are the proximity to the beach and the easy to work with owners, and the garage space. The cons are the tile floors and lack of rugs. Also the furniture is all glass or plastic. The only place to get cozy was in the beds. The couch and chairs were not comfortable to lounge in. If you choose to go here, bring slippers!

Angie, Thanks for the feedback. We don't have rugs in the house because they tend to collect a lot of sand, so close to the beach. We have included more throws and pillows to make the place more comfortable. Thanks, Jason

The location was good we enjoyed the beach. The house amenities are bare minimum and the bath towels are poor quality and stained. Bring your own. Unfortunately, it took a month to get our deposit back after several emails and calls. This was discouraging.

I'm Sorry for the delay in getting your deposit back. Normally we get it back within 2-weeks, but had an issue with our back that delayed the release of funds. Based on your feedback we have gone with a new towel vendor and have increased supplies in our property.

Awesome location just 20 steps away from the beach
Awesome location just 40 steps away from the beach!! They have boogie board and surfboards for the kids to play with! Had beach chairs to use.The kitchen was modern and up-to-date! Had two sets of watchers and dryers . We had one minor problem, however we emailed the owner and he sent over his handyman to fix the problem. We will be staying there again.

Recent stay
This property itself was perfect for our group of 7. It was perfect for a bachelorette party! We had plenty of room and everyone had a place to sleep. The only problem is the owners of the home are impossible to contact. I had emailed several times and even called the day of check in. I left a voicemail and no one ever returned my call. The communication lines were extremely poor. Other than that, we had no problems and the location was perfect!
