From this location, you can safely walk or ride bikes anywhere on the Newport Peninsula, Balboa Island, or down to Huntington Beach (45-minute bike ride in one direction) along the oceanfront boardwalk. However, with more than 30+ restaurants & bars, shops, electric boat/jet ski rentals, Surfboard/Stand-Up-Paddle-board Lessons all in the area you will never need to travel far! Although you may be looking for a quiet getaway, the action is never more than a Walk/Bike Ride away. Recently remodeled, super clean. Property management was available and communicative. It is near the road and they do say that in the listing. One block from the beach and great access. Only one issue that I think is easily fixed. Most beach rentals have a couple of bikes and some beach items to use. There were a couple of chairs, umbrella and boogie boards - but the bikes all belonged to the downstairs tenants. Having a couple there would be great to get to the grocery store, boardwalk area, etc. Not a big enough issue to downgrade it from 5 stars, just an observational note. ##### Jason M.
