We’ve stayed at this house a couple times. The location is perfect! Away from the bigger crowds and right by the beach. The house has lots of bathrooms which is awesome! The beds are not comfortable so it took several days to be able to sleep decent till we could get used to them but that is common with beach houses. We loved all of the towels and beach towels, and the ironing board and iron. The fridge is nice and big. Loved the big patio to put all of our beach stuff and bikes we brought. You should know it is managed by Vacasa, so after you book with vrbo, you'll get communication from Vacasa. There are plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms. Bed comfort is ok, but if you love a one-minute walk to the beach, it's a great trade-off. There were two things that kept me from reviewing 5 stars: the entry way and couches. The main entry way is a sliding glass door covered by blinds; both are hard to manage and require gentle handling yet assertive tugs to open and close. This is not convenient for guests if it's the only entry point. The couches were dirty and not suitable for comfort and resting. This is disappointing because no one wanted to sit on the couches, which were a huge part of the sitting area. It was clean and had great proximity to the beach. We didn’t realize there was a 4th bathroom when we booked so that was a nice surprise. There were fans in the closets which were great to get some air moving. Some things that we thought would make this place the best at ever would be making sure there was a good broom in the unit. No one likes sand all over the floors and it would be nice if we could clean up after ourselves. A TV added in the other bedrooms would also be nice. Other than that you can’t really beat this place. We’ve stayed in almost every rental in Newport, staying here once or twice a year for the last 20 years. We definitely would like to stay here again. Unfortunately I tried to book for next year and the price was hiked up over $600 than what I payed. Pretty bummed about that since it’s over our budget. Had a great time though. ##### lindsay s. It was very clean and spacious. I love the fact that is was the ground floor. Every room has a bathroom one of the bathroom showers was tiny! lol but we thought it was super creative. The house does have some wear and tear, but that is to be expected. Such as the blinds falling apart but that comes with the territory of renting the space to different people. No AC, but we had a nice breeze from outside and the home supplied plenty of fans for the rooms and area. Parking was good for us we got pretty blessed each time we needed to park outside of the one stall. Washer and dryer great and happy we didn’t have to pay to wash. Bonus and the best part, we were super close to the beach! We loved it! My family and I would definitely stay here again. ##### Edwina B. House was clean, but no inside mats for the doors or kitchen. We used our beach towels and shook it out daily. It is really necessary for the sand and when we were there it rained. It said there was laundry but we did not have it in our unit. The master bedroom has a really creaky bed. Kept us up anytime either of us moved. Needs a boxspring. Kitchen is minimum on the supplies - 3 bedroom house (says for 6 ) but only 4 plates. No spatulas. We had to use wood tools and that were not good for the job. We had no dish towels, asked vacasa for those and towels for the hall bath that had nothing. Said they would deliver... but they never came. We were there for 5 days. Looked like recently updated they just missed some of the essentials to make it a #10 stay. ##### Tracey L. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was such a perk and then to have an extra one was such a surprise! One of the showers was tiny but my little kids used it and thought it was fun being their size. Being just half a block from the beach was great. The property was clean other than the garbage disposal had rotten food in it that was collecting multiple flies and making it smell when we first checked in. We cleaned it out and it got much better. The front door is a slider that has broken blinds which isn’t the most convenient but it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. Great beach chairs and toys for the kids as well!
