Guests can park their cars once and not use them again until departure day! The beachfront boardwalk, which runs almost a 6-mile length of the peninsula, facilitates a great transportation corridor for pedestrians and bicycles, in addition to the Seashore Dr. bike path. It's the best way to get around town to avoid any parking and traffic hassles, too! RECREATIONAL GEAR: Additional beach gear or recreational equipment is available for rent from the management at very reasonable rates for our guests: large ice chests, wagons, Pack n Play portable cribs, portable high chairs, twin rollaway beds, and much more! The management company was communicative. There were a few little hiccups during our stay. The main one was parking. The listing noted a garage spot and an adjacent driveway spot. The garage spot is so narrow and shallow that a basic four door could not fit inside (since we had an SUV we had to use street parking which was an added burden given our young kids one of which is special needs). In the kitchen when we turned on the oven to bake something it smoked really bad and set off the fire alarm. The cooking utensils and supplies are dated and low budget (like plastic cooking utensils) but functional. Overall we had a nice time and the check in process was really easy. ##### Lindsay F. Easy check-in, responsive management. Enjoyed our stay!! Cons: There aren't 2 parking places -- there is 1\. Our compact car (Honda HRV) technically fit in the garage, but it was too tight to get the car doors open. The garage is not a "parking place." The parking spot next to the rental did fit the compact car. Luckily we were able to find street parking for our other car. The washer/dryer should either be free or have a credit card system. We were two families of four (8 total). So close to the beach without having to deal with all the foot traffic. There is a grocery store right down the street (5 minute walk). My biggest concern going in was regarding parking. We had a 12 passenger van and was able to park it in the space provided (between the building and street sign). The bbq burners should be replaced but we were able to cook burgers fine. 20 minute walk along the beach for ice cream and donuts! A few small issues that were taken care of very quickly by the management company. For the price of the unit we were very impressed. Would recommend to others and would visit again. ##### Curtis T. It was very close to the beach and we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. None of the windows have blackout curtains, so we were up early every morning. We had police activity at least 4 times every night during the week we were there. It was incredibly loud. For all the notices we received about the quiet times, they were not enforced. The internet was spotty, it was not able to support video meetings if others were streaming movies. It’s definitely not set up to work from this location. The directions to the house were accurate and to the access to the building were easy to follow. The room descriptions were accurate. ##### Libby L. Location is nice. Close to grocery, beach, bank, surf shop, restaurants and ice cream. Clean beach. Verizon 4/5G works fine out by the water. In mid-August, not too crowded. Comfortable beds. OK bathrooms. Family room was fine. BBQ worked fine. Kitchen was nice size. Ice maker worked great. Room size was sufficient. Internet worked most of the time. Beach towels, chairs, boogie board, crock pot are included. That was nice. Couple things that I thought were off... -Communicate that beach chairs, beach towels, boogie board, beach toys and crock pot are included, so guests don't worry about bringing. -Asked to do all dishes/dry/put away, take out all trash and clean the grill. For the price of the cleaning charge, these should be included. (VRBO won't allow me to include specific price here - unfortunately) -It would've been nice to have a patio covering over the balcony. When it rains, the umbrella does nothing. -More seating in family room. There are beds for 8, but seating for 6 in the family room. -The oscillating floor fans are very dirty and need to be cleaned or replaced. -When we first arrived, the floor in the main room was super slick with shoes on. If you have elderly people, this may be a hazard. Will we stay again? When we have a larger group. Thanks! ##### Matt P. The balcony, the great room and the kitchen were perfect. Check in and out was a breeze. Our group had four cars; that was a challenge. Great house for bigger families. The living room, dining room and kitchen are nicely open to each other making it a good space to hang out together.
