Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
The pictures did not fairly represent the actual size of the place. The kitchen living room dining area and tv and hide-a-bed were all in the same room (10'x10'). There was a full cigarette butt can on the outside porch, the water was not potable the was a water cooler as a replacement which made it difficult to shower. The bedroom had a queen size bed but only 12" of moving space on one side of the bed, and the only bathroom was maybe 2' wide and no window for ventilation for smell or shower. Plus while sitting in the toilet you could reach out and touch the bed (so romantic, not really). The property had a boat launch and swimming but the water was too shallow to swim and the bugs were not the greatest. Lastly the host house was about 10 feet away and we could he them pass gas and yelling at their animals if we left the door open to the cabin for fresh air. I don't believe the advertising for this was entirely accurate and I wouldn't recommend it. Plus the times I texted the host on the way to the cabin there was 0 response. There is a a nice view of Eel Lake and a controlled fire pit and pre chopped wood for camp fire and a big free room you have access to, but it attached to the hosts house. Lastly when we got there the place smelled of Pine Sol so bad our eyes were watering we had to open all the windows and doors to air out for about 2 hour (again not romantic at all, real mood killer to say the least), and the host had buyer come to look at the property.
