Six stars!
Everything about this property was worthy of 6 stars. The owner was super nice and responsive, the home is gorgeous and meticulously maintained, the location is perfect, and the price was very reasonable. We had 4 adults, 4 kids, and 2 dogs and never felt cramped as we spent most of our time in the large entertaining area. The owner also left a nice supply of starter products and had a great supply of spices. We cooked in every day and easily found everything we needed in the kitchen. Also a large supply of baby and dog items. And perhaps most importantly, this home was probably the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in. I'm a little OCD about cleaning and this place might have been cleaner than my own home. I highly recommend this Wolfe Creek cabin and we're already trying to figure out when we can go back!
The house was so clean and offered so many little extras, like teas and popcorn! The location was perfect, we were able to do several fun activities within 20 minutes of the house. We all enjoyed the fire pit for s'mores. This house has definitely earned its high rating!
Host communication is excellent! Cabin just as described. Fireplace was great as weather got cold. Pet friendly was perfect with doggy gates on back porch. Back porch was perfect for sitting and grilling. Did I mention the doggy line from back porch to near tree to hook your dog and your dog can enjoy back yard.

Awesome Cabin!
We were 3 couples and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed inside and outside. We used the fire pit for s'mores and relaxed on the back porch. It has a beautiful scenery and yet close to everything. I would definitely recommend this cabin to stay either for families or couples. We wished we could have stayed longer. It was perfect for what we needed. The contact person was very attentive to address our needs/concerns before, during, and even after the trip. I would definitely stay again! Thanks so much!
Cabin's interior layout, furnishings and cleanliness were very good! Monogrammed linens and deco were quite elegant. Kitchen was immaculate with cabinets labeled and items easily accessible. Shower liner in upstairs bathroom needs attention. Parking in front of house is quite tight and only really accommodates two vehicles, unless guests are pulling in and parking behind each other. Driveway in from the main road to the house was quite washed out with ruts and needs immediate attention; was reported to property owner upon check-in. With road improvements, we would definitely book again. Had a very nice four days at Wolfe Creek Cabin!

Great Stay!
This was our first time ever stayed at a cabin for a vacation and I am happy to say that the family just loved the experience.
The Wolfe Creek Cabin has everything in the house. We enjoyed cooking in the cabin and also played a few family fun games. Overall the stay was great!
When we arrived at the cabin, there was a power outage due to extremely high wind. We followed instruction and contacted the onsite manager, who quickly got back to us and let us know the issue has been reported to the power company. The owner of the cabin also reached out and let us know where we could find additional lighting within the cabin and also status of the power outage. We appreciated the status update and the fast response.
I brought some friends from Wilmington to Banner Elk/Newland for hiking and tubing. They had never been. This house is incredible. The little details, lights, dog treats, and more. The beds are incredibly comfy. The fire pit area is perfect. In close vicinity to all major attractions. We hiked Linville Falls and drove up to Wiseman's Peak which is a 10 minute drive. The Winery is not far. We rode the Alpine Rollercoaster in Banner Elk which is an easy 15 minute drive. I visit the area 5-10 times a year for hiking, snowboarding, and rafting in the summer. This is by far the best house I have stayed in. We even decided to stay another day and Traci the property manager was a text away to make the request and she arranged it quickly. 5 star stay and my friends said it was a lifetime experience they will not forget. If it's not booked I will be back in a few weeks to snowboard.
This was our first time ever getting a cabin and I have to say my family just loved the whole experience! Wolfe Creek Cabin, you have set the bar very high!
The power went out soon after we arrived at the cabin. We followed the guidance and quickly contacted the property manager. She got responded back to us swiftly and gave us an update on the overall situation. The power was out due to extreme high wind in the area and the power company had been contacted. The owner of the property also reached out via text and provided an update and additional places in the house where we can get lanterns as needed.
Overall, the stay at the cabin was fun and relaxing. We enjoyed family time together, hiked near by mountains, played some family friendly games and watched some movies.
Thank you for providing us a such wonderful place!
Ann.
The cabin was neat and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay! Well stocked kitchen even had lots of spices. Great fire pit and games for the kids to play. The cabin is about 20 minutes from Grandfather Mountain.

Great place!!!
We arrived and everything was excellent!
Not a stone was left unturned. Y’all thought of everything.
Very well pleased!
Will stay again and highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to experience the mountain life.
We loved this cabin for a midweek leaf peeping and hiking trip. It has everything you’d need, just bring some food, some hiking shoes and prepare to enjoy yourselves.
The house was absolutely perfect for our family and pups. A lot of thought and intention has been put into every detail to create a great gathering space! The property is private and peaceful and the owners thought of everything you could possible need.
We will definitely be back!
Splendid peaceful cabin. Nestled just far away from road where it's nice an quiet. Clean linens, Everthing in house was labeled(which we loved), updated appliances and loved the doggie treats left for visitors. All of this and jist a short drive to everything. We will certainly be coming back to visit again!

Wonderful mountain home
The home was very comfortable, clean, and convent to area sites we wanted to visit. We would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing get-away!!
We had a very nice stay in this very clean, well appointed cabin. Out of the way location provided privacy and quiet, yet was not too far from many destinations. We would gladly stay again on our next trip to the area.
