Ease of reserving rooms, helpful staff (front desk and breakfast room), very clean room when we checked in. The housekeeping staff was also pleasant and friendly when we met them in the hall (we didn’t need anything from them for a 2-night stay). The elevator was a bit slow and looked like it has seen better days, but it was perfectly functional.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I wanted to thank Lorena in particular. I arrived late in the evening with my family (2 kids already asleep in the back of the car) and realized, upon arrival, that I had accidentally booked our room for the wrong night! Not only did Lorena manage to get us a room for the night (without additional charges), but she did it in the same amount of time I would expect a normal check in to take. Thank you for turning a potentially difficult situation into a funny story I could tell my wife! The hotel itself is fine. Everything was as clean and taken care of as I’d expect. The breakfast isn’t fancy, but it’s free and easy. (My son loved the automatic pancake maker.) Best about it, I’d say, is the reasonable price and the convenient location relative to the Beacon MetroNorth train station. And Lorena. Thanks again!

Exceptional???
It taught me to read the amenities more carefully. No pay TV channels and a TV that is difficult to operate. The valve on the bathtub was not mounted properly and fell off when I went to turn on the water. CONTINENTAL breakfast! No good options to eat. Sign on second floor directs you to ice which is non-existent. I could have gotten more at another hotel. Very disappointing especially after I was reading the ratings. Exceptional???

We’ve stayed here twice to visit friends and been very impressed. Reasonable rates and the hotel is clean and comfortable. The room was spotless and we even got maid service when we weren’t expecting it. When we asked for extra towels and pillows we received them promptly. The breakfast was nothing fancy but had a lot of options and was also clean. Coffee and hot cocoa in the lobby 24/7 was nice. Location was great for us and right behind the I-84 diner which has great food. Definitely plan on staying here again when we visit next!
