About this property

The Cellar @Lively Farm a Family Friendly Hobby Farm Stay

  • Enjoy our little slice of hobby farm heaven nestled among the old-growth forest along Chehalem Creek. You'll experience the beauty of nature, the antics of our goats, chickens, rabbits, geese, ducks, and quail, and the charm of downtown Newberg. Our secluded neighborhood offers the perfect area for walking, running, or bike riding, and the wineries of Dundee are soooo close!

    Although it is peaceful here, it is not quiet.
    The animals make noise, especially the geese.

    You are likely to hear children playing, dogs barking, footsteps from the wood floor upstairs, and sometimes piano and guitar - especially Sunday evenings.

    We carefully observe quiet hours from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (on tiptoe)

    Be warned that we live on the edge of the forest. Owls, deer, raccoons, squirrels, possums, and foxes frequent our yard.

    The speed limit in the neighborhood is 15 mph. No sidewalks. Limited visibility.

    This is not the place if:
    - you require silence
    - party after midnight
    - drive carelessly, fast, or under the influence
