"Just not my taste"

"The Hyatt Grand Central New York has a prime location right next to Grand Central, which is one of its biggest advantages. Other than that, they have inconsistent housekeeping. Rooms are not cleaned regularly, so towels are not being replaced or basic supplies not being restocked unless requested. The check-in staff were helpful and accommodating and offered an upgrade (though it came at an additional charge), which did improve the stay for our group. Overall, the hotel works best if location is your top priority. Just be prepared for inconsistent service and amenities that may not fully match typical 4-star expectations."

"I love the Tempo for it’s cleanliness and location. This is not my first stay there and I really loved it the first time. This time though, I didn’t feel as welcomed: The welcome name in our room was still of the previous member, we were told it’s going to get fixed as I wanted to make sure I get the points for staying. 3 nights stay and it was never fixed. We asked for a kettle that never came, no way or offer to heat up a soup for my niece, they didn’t offer us any discount to any sites or things to do like last time either. I still like the Tempo and would stay there again but I wanted to show my niece how nice it is there seeing it is her first time in New York but I find this experience is lacking the attention to detail it used to have when it comes to ensuring great customer experience."

"Great hotel. Great location. Pricey but nice. We had a great view (by request and surcharged). Have stayed 3 times so far. All good but must admit wear and tear is starting to show on room furniture. Mattress springs were compressed on edge of bed pretty bad. Rest of mattress was fine. There's not a lot of space in the room (like any NY hotel) so the edge of the bed probably gets a lot of use....but all in all would likely stay again due to proximity to family residents."

"Surprisingly not bad, near everything. While everyone went to tlTimes Square, we veered left to Hell's Kitchen neighborhood for dining and found wonderful little hole in the wall restaurants. Room is a little noisy from the sounds of the city, but it is to be expected since you're so close to such a popular area. Definitely will stay again."
