Worked!

No complaints - simple but clean and efficient. Quite at night. Close to transit and walking distance to popular destinations. Not to mention, the neighborhood itself was cool and had some great boutique restaurants and bars. All good.

Communication with host was a bot half of the time. The smoke detectors were all disconnected and therefore, beeping. The freezer did not seal all the way and would beep. There were about 10 decent size bugs in the living spaces every day. Apartment was cute with updated finishes. Very close to central park was a plus. Beds were comfy

We will no longer be using VRBO due to this stay

We booked and were sent the address for the VRBO. On the day we landed at the airport we were sent check in instructions for new, different, address. 10 blocks away in a dilapidated location with no lockbox or even clear entry doorway. We have received nothing but canned responses “Glad you’re enjoying your stay!”. Before finding a hotel we carried our luggage 10 blocks to the original address and spoke to a local. “Yeah this happens a lot”. The host is obviously a bit. Again no response to our concerns during the whole process and VRBO has been zero help. “The host seems willing to help!”. It’s a bit. The responses are canned. Whatever. We will be taking this up with the credit card company.
