    Great location and comfortable stay

    The location of the property is amazing - easy access. Apartment is clean and spacious. Hosts are amazing - quick to respond for any questions and seamless check in process. Recommend this place!

    Very Comfortable Stay

    The location and convenience of this rental were phenomenal. Staying in this rental put us in the middle of so many great restaurants and coffee shops, not to mention the subway! The restroom and kitchen were neatly stocked and the two bedrooms were big enough to sleep two people each. My 11 year-old insisted on sleeping on the couch and even he woke up saying the couch was super comfy. Our host was also very quick to respond to us and answer any questions we may have had. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

    Great location

    Nice apartment in great location near many good restaurants and bars. Close walking distance to subway. Very easy check in and check out. Beds are low to ground but very comfortable. Couch was also comfortable. Nicely stocked kitchen. Plenty of linens and cleaning supplies. Dining table seats 6 comfortably. Good WiFi. Property is nice and elevator is fast, although a little crowded during evening hours. Moses is a great host, quickly responding to my texts.

    Worst experience ever

    We tried to reach the host several times before the check in, with our any response. When we got to the address given in the app, there was no suck street number. It was labor weekend, so most hotel were booked up and the one we got charged us crazy money for been a last-minute booking on a Friday evening. Will not recomend the hist or the app.

    Absolutely worst experience

    We didn’t even end up staying there. I heard nothing from the host in the lead up to the stay. Coming from New Zealand with young kids, this was incredibly stressful. VRBO customer service was no better. They said just turn up and call if you can’t get in. That’s ridiculous to expect us to do that with a young family after an 18 hour flight. I had to call 6 times to get a refund. Absolutely worst experience.

    THIS IS A SCAM!! DO NOT BOOK!!

    SCAM ALERT!! Please read the reviews on this property!!! This is the 3rd time someone has booked this property and was unable to gain entrance to the property. They will not communicate with you, take your money and leave you to fight with Customer Service for hours (who will tell you they need to talk to the Host before refunding your money). Me and my colleagues had to book new accommodations last minute during Tree Lighting weekend (1000’s more expensive) with no way to recoup that cost. I asked that they pull this property down so they cannot scam others but it is still up for rent. Buyer Beware!

    Owner cancelled the day before arriving

    When confirming the checkin details the day before our arrival and flight from the West coast and overseas the owner contacted us saying there was an emergency at the property and that we had to cancel our reservation. Firstly the owner should not ask us to cancel as we would void a refund. Secondly, if it’s the owners issue then they should cancel and refund and at least offer an alternate equivalent accomodation with assistance from VRBO. To say the least it was a nightmare at midnight the day before arriving to find alternate accomodation with only 6% of all properties available in New York at such short notice. We booked the property months prior. We were lucky to find another accomodation on the jersey shore of the Hudson on another provider (not VRBO) that worked out for the better anyhow.

    Scam … Be warned

    Never got check in details. Started texting host a couple days before check in with no response. I tried to call VRBO customer service tried to call with absolutely no response. Unfortunately VRBO cannot or will not start a claim process until after check in time has passed. That left my guests waiting at airport for HOURS while I found a back up place to stay. The stress was high and we ended up at a hotel without the amenities we had planned (kitchen, washer/dryer, living area to visit). While the VRBO customer service manager I worked with was professional and sympathetic I was astonished that other than helping find alternative accommodations via Expedia there is no additional coverage.
