I was attacked on my way into the hotel and I was greeted by the front desk. They said welcome to New York. I spoke to the security guard took a description of the man that attacked me never heard from him or the hotel manager overheard the hotel security saying that the incident never happened, basically calling me a liar your life is in your hands in this neighborhood. Be careful. You may wind up becoming a victim like I was.

Outside the Hotel there was a lot of shady looking people hanging around it very small entrance, but relatively Decent Room and clean Shower was slow moving and there was really no pressure coming out of it

Bring ear plugs, very noisy city so you’ll hear ambulance and police sirens throughout the night. Also the walls are thin, I could hear a baby crying on the room next door. Other than that, the location was perfect and hotel was clean and comfortable.

Great location, plenty of good restaurants around. E, M, 6 lines of subway within a block, very convenient. The room we stayed was very clean. The room is not sound insulated. 3rd Ave can be noisy at times even on the 14th floor it sounded as if it were on the 2nd. This is the only hotel we stayed without a complementary bottle of water.

The staff are always polite and helpful. The property has a nice lounge area to freshen up or relax at, if your room is not available at check in (we requested early check in, which is only available upon availability). They were very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay!

Other than front desk, the staff were very attentive and accomodating. The room itself was disappointing. We tried to use the sofa bed and ended up throwing the mattress on the floor which worked OK. The bathroom sink drained so slowly it was basically plugged. But location is fantastic

The property was quite dated, but everything in the room worked just fine. The room we were checking in had a faulty bathroom door, but the staff kindly transferred us to a new room. However, the new room was a bit dirty, especially the bedsheets, either because they had not been prepared for incoming guests or because the cleanliness standard in this hotel is just average. The staff, however, were friendly and accommodating. Another redeeming quality about this hotel is its location. It is very close to Lexington subway station, and there are lots of dining options nearby.

The hotel is walking distance to the subway which has great access to downtown and JFK and LaGuardia airports. There were many food options nearby. Very happy we got this hotel.
