Perfect safe clean area!!
This is the perfect place to stay! The upstairs makes for high ceilings and the kitchen is a definite win...we were able to go to Centra park several times since it's across the street and the subway steps away was amazing....any questions we had were answered super fast and there's great food places in short walking distance...plenty of sheets etc ...and a beautiful bookcase full of books and windows with natural light made for the best stay ♥️♥️♥️

Great apartment, great location.
We love this apartment. We have stayed here once before, and will keep coming back. The location is perfect, it's right next to Central Park, lots of great restaurants and stores within a short walking distance, and the subway is only a block away. Mark and Rene were always quick to respond to any questions, and were very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Everything was great except for bedding (comforters) up and downstairs. They also smelled bad. They needed an overhaul due to stains or to be replaced. As far as other aspects of the apt., we were very pleased. The refrigerator died during our stay and the owner brought in a small frig. We appreciated his effort to make our stay enjoyable. Restaurants in the area were great and the subway was so close by. We would stay here again with the updates.

My husband, myself and our 12 year old son had the BEST experience in this apartment. Ideal location on the upper West side. Just steps out the door is beautiful Central Park and the subway for the C line. We walked to dinner every night and had incredible food too. Great markets around the corner which was nice because there was a fully equipped kitchen. We eat breakfast in our pajamas and sipped coffee every morning looking out the window. It was fun to feel like New Yorker! Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. If I could make one recommendation it would be to update the linens, pillows, and towels. They were all pretty old, but we didn’t care because everything else was so fantastic.

Wonderful property

GREAT place PERFECT location
We had a wonderful stay in New York and were very happy with the apartment. Location was perfect for us, being right at Central Park it’s a a more peaceful place to come home to after a hectic day or stroll through with a morning coffee. We liked the beds and our 12 year old son loved the loft bed with the big screen tv. Kitchen was good and had what we needed, but there are SO many good restaurants in that neighborhood that we didn’t use it much. Checking in was a breeze - we didn’t actually meet our host, Mark, but he was easily available by phone and ready to help with any info. One other plus was a great library of books to read, not that I had much time to, but just having them there made the place feel homey. We miss this cute pied-a-terre and look forward to coming back sometime.

Great place
This was the perfect apartment for our family trip to NYC. Plenty of space for 4 people and the location can't be beat. Steps away from central park and a subway stop. A block away from great upper west side restaurants too. Couldn't have picked a better home base for all our adventures. Owner was easy to contact and helpful. Laundry in the building was convenient. Apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. Kids loved the loft. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Great stay
Fantastic location close to subway and great neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. Apartment was very comfortable and spacious for three people. Property manager very accommodating about keeping our bags after checkout time as we had a red eye flight home.

Nice place. Murphy bed was nice. Upstairs bedroom is not easy to get up and down using tight winding staircase. The ceiling is only 6’ tall so I had to duck to get in the bed. Very comfortable once in.

Loved this apartment!
Thank you for an amazing stay. My daughter-in-law and I stayed here for six nights and just loved it. We had a small issue when we first arrived but it was solved quickly and pleasantly. I’ve never had a more welcoming experience. This apartment is close to Metro Stations and bus lines that took us to all the major sites. It is walking distance to Central Park and several museums, as well as multiple restaurants. One night we even did take-out from Ray’s Pizza, one block away. The Chicken Parm sandwich was so big, we ate it for two days! If you are looking for that neighborhood feel while staying in Manhattan, do not pass up this apartment. We couldn’t have been any happier.

Awesome location, very comfortable apartment.
This was an awesome experience, Central Park, museums and the subway all within a minutes walk of the apartment. Catch a cab at the corner or the Subway and head into heart of NYC. Restaurants and bars within walking distance. Just an absolutely incredible location. The hosts were outstanding and very accommodating. They responded within minutes when needed for all our needs, like getting mail delivered to our apartment, early check-in and a late check-out, or directions and suggestions. We were here for 7 weeks and had our dog with us and it was an absolute dream to be on the Upper West Side in an apartment with a kitchen then at an overpriced Hotel. Thank you for making our stay safe, pleasurable and a whole lot of fun.

The apt was as pictured, the mgmt was attentive and nearby if needed, the location was well situated for getting around easily by bus, subway, or taxi, the neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed being right by Central Park. The apt was clean and well equiped, and the beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Very well situated next to Central Park and Museum of Natural History, and close to NY Historical Society and Zabars. Apartment fit our needs well. Only caveat: We managed to stay warm enough in late November, but only if we stayed away from the windows, which are single-paned and let in air. The apartment has two heaters, one for the upstairs loft, so upstairs can be too warm at the same time that downstairs requires extra clothing. The proprietors are very nice, very accommodating, allowing us to check in early and check out late.

Cosy place in a great location.
This apartment is small, but comfortable and functional. We had everything we needed, and the location was ideal! 1 block from the 81st street subway station, and a maybe 20 minute walk across the park to the Guggenheim and even shorter walk for the MET. The owner is close by if anything is needed, but we didn't need a thing! Thanks for a fabulous stay.

Wonderful location
This apartment is located in a prime area of NYC. Beautiful and easy access to Central Park , museums , excellent restaurants and directly around the corner from subway and any location in the city quickly . Host was quickly available on site to answer any questions and checked in often to be sure we didn’t need anything . It was a wonderful vacation full of great memories . Thank you

Very Convenient
The unit was very convenient and comfortable. It is a great location for getting around Manhattan. Central and yet removed enough so that you felt like you are in a real neighborhood. Lots of good shopping and restaurants nearby and the proximity to Central Park is wonderful. My main critic is that even for myself who is 5'6" and flexible it is awkward to get into the loft. It can be done, but it is not easy. Also the place could really use a bit of sprucing up . I had the feeling that everything there was used from someplace else and it gave the place left over feel. If it ws spruced up it would be lovely.

Thank you for your review. We accommodated this couple to early check in and they stayed in a large studio apt that was just renovated few months ago, The main bed is a Queen size murphy bed and it is on the main floor, with a ceiling height of 19 Ft. This studio apt has an extra sleeping loft with a ceiling height of 5.7 ft that is mostly used for extra guest or kids. This guest only used the bed in the main room, and not the one in the loft, I don't understand why he is complaining about the loft that he didn't use, when he stated that "The unit was very convenient and comfortable" He was right - we purchased furniture from different stores such as IKEA , Costco, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and Bobs furniture. The decor is Clearly subjective. must people like few don't, Please see below what they wrote. "The unit was very convenient and comfortable. It is a great location for getting around Manhattan. Central and yet removed enough so that you felt like you are in a real neighborhood. Lots of good shopping and restaurants nearby and the proximity to Central Park is wonderful." We also accommodated this couple to a late checkout. We always strive to do everything so our guests stay will be a pleasant one

Clean, comfortable apartment in quiet residential neighborhood. We felt right at home.
The apartment was comfortable and clean, and everything worked. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive making sure we enjoyed our stay. While the upstairs loft ceiling height was too low for me to stand up straight, it was fine for my wife. No matter, it was just the two of us so we always used the pull-down bed in the living room which had a comfortable mattress. The kitchen was well equipped though we didn't use it for much more than a few light meals. The apartment location was perfect for us in a quiet, residential neighborhood close to bus and subway stops. There were plenty of shops and groceries around for everything we needed and delightful restaurants. In all, we felt right at home and would definitely stay here again.

PERFECT LOCATION AND APARTMENT!
We really enjoyed our stay in your lovely apartment. Owners are great to communicate with and the flat is cozy and well outfitted. Ceilings are low in the upstairs loft but we are short so no problem! Beds and all linens are very comfortable. Good water pressure in shower, which some hotels don't have. Locations couldn't have been better for our trip - very close to the B&C lines, great for walks in Central Park, lots of good shopping and eats on Columbus or Amsterdam... Thank you.

Great location and quiet!
Fabulous location just across from Central Park and easy walking access to restaurants and nightlife in the Upper West side. Pictures accurately portray the apartment and the kitchen is good-sized and well-appointed. And it was surprisingly quiet for NYC! We would stay here again.

Perfect place for our family to stay and enjoy NYC!
We loved this very comfortable apartment. The full kitchen was a blessing as we were there during Christmas. I was able to purchase dinner at Zabars on Broadway and 80th and prepare it for our Christmas Dinner. The subway station is a block away, Central Park is basically across the street, perfect location! The loft bedroom has a very low ceiling and steep spiral staircase, so we let the kids have that space. The owners were so easy to deal with and quick to respond. We look forward to coming back!

The location is fine, one block from the subway at 81st and Central Park West, two blocks from the American Museum of Natural History, right at Central Park. Zabar's is three blocks west. The space is a single large room with a Murphy bed. Everything was clean and complete. The bed was comfortable although a little smaller than we are accustomed to. Part of the space is divided vertically, with a kitchen below and a loft above with another bed. I slept there and found it just fine, but the ceiling there is less than 6 ft high. You must bend to use it, but if you are mostly sleeping that is not a problem. The spiral stair is very narrow. The kitchen below has a higher ceiling. I am 6'4" and had no problem using that space. We would happily stay there again.

My husband and I like to start the holiday season with a trip to NYC to see all the beautiful lights, attend plays, museums, and see special holiday musical events!!! Our stay in Mark's Upper West Side duplex was perfect and he was a wonderful host, including helping us with our bags to get set up in this very comfortable rental. We were close to everything! Central Park, the subway, a great local grocer, Zabar's, and some excellent restaurants - all within a close walking distance. Lovely Quiet UWS Gem
If you are looking for a tastefully-decorated, comfortable apartment on the Upper West Side, this is the one. It is located on the first floor, up one flight of entry stairs, in a brownstone off of CPW on a quiet street, but near many of the most sought-after attractions in the city. A variety of restaurants, cafes and bakeries are a block away. Subways are located nearby, cross-town buses are a 5 minute walk away. The hosts were most-accommodating, responsive and helpful. The apartment has an upstairs loft, accessed through a circular staircase that has a queen bed. The loft is quite low, so best suited for someone under 6 feet or children. I was by myself and chose to sleep in the very comfortable Murphy bed in the living area. The kitchen was modernized and well-stocked with the necessities for cooking and eating-in while there. Having wi-fi and cable tv was a bonus. It is air-conditioned, but windows could be opened, as well. I visit NYC often and have been looking for just this place. I plan on staying here again and would highly recommend it.

A perfect oasis on the Upper West Side. What a great place to chill after a busy day in Manhattan! Good stores and restaurants within a block or two, subway 1 blk away, and easy walking distance to one of the best grocers on Earth...Zabar's! Owner was very easy to deal with and quick to reply to any concern. Given the chance, I would definitely stay there again!

Appartement bien conçu pour famille
Appartement au calme, dans rue calme près de Central park et près de Colombus street, très commerçante. Musée d'histoire naturelle à 2 pas. Transmission des clés facilitées (cf heure d'arrivée ) et échanges par whatsap.Une présentation physique meme rapide des fonctionnalités par le propriétaire (chauffage, tv, wifi, cuisine...) aurait été un plus. Néanmoins le propriétaire se déplace au besoin (dans notre cas une 'logistique" draps. Très bien pour une famille de 4 dont 2 enfants. Bien équipé en électroménager et vaisselle.

Duplex tres agréable rénové avant notre arrivée.Suffisament spacieux pour 5.Aucun point négatif.
Tres agréable duplex entierement rénové. Parfaitement situé, à coté de central parc et du métro.Tres calme.Tres bon contact avec le propriétaire.On regrete que l'entrée de l'immeuble soit moins agréable et d'avoir croisé un cafard.
