Great place to stay!

Wonderful night at the Inn! Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and pleasant. We have stayed several times before and each time has exceeded our expectations.

Amish Door is a great find!

I cannot believe this place only has 2.5 stars as of the time I'm writing this review. I happened upon it--looking for a place to stay on the way to Pennsylvania--through the Ohio visitor's pages. My mother and I loved it and didn't want to finish the rest of our trip! The hotel is one of a kind--little nooks for reading and places to spend time away from your room. Beautiful view from our room. And, it's great that the little shops are right there on the property. We saw a Christmas-themed play right next door at the Amish Door theater, and that just topped it all off. Highly recommended! We'll be wanting to make a yearly visit.

amish inn close to everthing.

everything was great, better than expected, the only slight complaint were the bed, little squeeky, to soft hurt back, other than that the pool, spa were absolutly wonderful the staff was awesome very attentive, check in and out was very easy. contential breakfast very good, the breakfast on sunday was execptional

Not what I thought it would be

The room we stayed in was not what I thought it would be. It was not as nice as I expected, especially for the price. The restaurant at the Inn was good, especially the breakfast buffet.

Amish Country's best Inn /Shops and Restaurant.

We enjoyed our brief stay very much. The accommodations were first rate. The food was great and it was fun to shop and brouse the Amish Door Shoppes.

Pleasantly suprised!

Although a little pricey for our budget, it proved very convient for why we were there. If I have the opportunity to return, I would definitely consider this hotel again. The continental breakfast was impressive; fresh made Belgian waffles, plus many other foods and toppings. Pleasantly impressive. Almost like home, and some one to make sure everyting was clean and neat. Souldn't have asked for more away from home.

Unexpected Luxury

The hotel was a surprise in Amish Country. I would like to have seen more of the Amish theme reflected in the hotel. The luxurious surroundings with old world paintings did not really fit the community. The breakfast pastries were excellent.

What a wonderful surprise!

We stayed at the Inn for the Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Weekend. Upon entering the lobby, we were greeted with a smile and fresh baked cookies. Although not fancy, our room was clean and comfortable. The next morning we enjoyed a hearty continental breakfast that featured delicious fresh baked items from the bakery on the property, cereals, waffles, and fruit. The grounds were breath taking and there are numerous outdoor seating areas to enjoy the surroundings. The Inn at Amish Door also features outstanding customer service. The housekeeping staff was kind enough to move our bags for us when we made a pre-arranged room change during our stay and the servers at the restaurant next door were awesome. I would recommend this property to everyone!

The Inn at The Amish Door

The room was simply decorated, clean and had a wonderful view of the countryside. The staff was freindly and helpful. The continential breakfast was more than you get at most hotels. The atmosphere was more of a B and B. There was also a resturant, bakery and store on location.

Great atmosphere and break from the chain hotels

Great place to stay for business travelers who want to "shake things up" and not stay at the normal chain hotel. It was a nice change. The rooms were not updated, but the cable worked, the wireless worked well. It was nice to get out and walk to the restaurant and store. Absolutly beautiful. Loved it!

Well worth the drive to this beautiful hotel .

This hotel surpassed my expectations. From the beautiful exterior when I arrived to the free peanut butter cookies at check in, to the clean and spacious room I had which was extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated and very up to date. The front desk girl was friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast was very good. With fresh pastries from the awesome amish bakery next door. Cappacino machine, fresh fruit and assorted juices. The restaurant next door is very good. They have the worlds best apple pie. Its called a Brown Bag apple pie. With a crumbly top crust. To be honest I had stop at this restaurant once before and chose the Amish Inn based on just that. I was so happy everything else lived up to my high expectations. For those who think I work there or something I do have one complaint. My tv remote didnt work very well and cable kept going out. But my stomach was so happy I didnt care. And yes I took a pie along with other baked goods home with me!

Beautiful View

The Hotel was good for the price. The room was clean and we were able to get in it with a wheelchair easily even though we forgot to request a handicap room. The view from the Inn is beautiful and the location is good just a few miles from Berlin. We did not use the pool but it looked really nice.

Quiet,relaxing setting

If you are looking for some quiet time to read and relax this may be the perfect place. Lots of areas to sit and enjoy the country landscaping. If shopping is your passion, Amish country offers lots of different shops. Bakery, gift shop and store on site. Very nice hot breakfast also.

Very Disapointed

We did not stay at this hotel. We made reservation ,received confirmation and was later contacted and informed the hotel was overbooked. Staying at this hotel was as important as visiting this specific area. We did not care to stay at just any hotel. Where you stay in amish country is very important since everything closes at 5 pm.

Very clean,quiet and lovely views

Room was very clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was one of the nicest we have had. Will definately stay here again and will recommend to friends. We have stayed many places in Amish country and this will be on our favorites list!

WORTH THE FEW EXTRA MILES

We took our in laws to this Inn for a birthday celebration. They were so impressed with how beautiful the surroundings were, they can't wait to go back. Located in Wilmot, we had to drive about 5 or 6 miles from Berlin to get there but it was well worth the drive. The restaurant was fabulous, great breakfast buffet. We will be back.
