We loved learning about the history of the quiet neighborhood from the owner himself. We even got to experience part of a jazz funeral at a nearby church! Coffee shops, restaurants, museums as well as the French Quarter are within walking distance. The WiFi was great for working remotely. Check-in and check-out were easy, too. It was absolutely gorgeous. Perfect walking distance to a bunch of places and the owner of the home was so accommodating for our dogs. Dan was a wonderful host and gave us some excellent recommendations for our visit. The house is beautiful and clean, with just the right amount of space for us (4 people) and nice outdoor areas. We loved the location--very convenient, lots of character, and walkable to Frenchman Street and the French Quarter. The house \*is\* historic, so the floors are creaky and you can hear your neighbors (it's a duplex) if someone's renting the other unit, so maybe not ideal for super light sleepers, but we didn't mind. Would happily stay there again, and hope to be back someday! ##### Karla W.
