For a 16-person bachelor party with people arriving and departing to and from multiple locations, we were able to check in early and check out late, and Mike made himself available for everything that we needed. The property is within walking distance to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, and is a short drive from the downtown area. There is plenty of space inside with many amenities for large groups. Comfort level was just like home. Safe and secure with keypad locks and three blocks from the police station, fire station. Parking was never an issue, thanks to the planning and execution of our host. Communication was top notch. We are natives of New Orleans, and this VRBO made coming home a perfect opportunity to relive our youth. Worth every penny. 40 nieces and nephews helped us celebrate my becoming an octogenarian. Everything was well-maintained with plenty of spare towels, glasses, toilet paper, and toiletries. The second thing that stands out is the location: three blocks off of Bourbon Street and a straight drive to the Warehouse District and the Garden District beyond that. It really was a fantastically-situated spot. Lastly, with fine dining right across the intersection, the house is close to all sorts of meals. We DID cook in the house as the kitchen was superbly well-equipped, too, though! In short, I can't recommend this place enough! It was a real delight to be there. Kudos to Mike for being a phone call away and checking in with my group during our stay, rather than waiting for a "no news is good news" scenario. Early on we had a couple requests regarding being able to project our presentation on the TV. Mike handled the issue quickly and exceeded my expectations. We had a great time and were really close to the Bourbon and all the fun. Only issue is Rampart can be a bit loud in the evenings, so know that you may not get a lot of sleep.
