We historically restored this Betty Gay Department store building and you will love the cool vibe and ambiance! Its a great place to relax & unwind after a busy day of exploring Bristol and the surrounding area! We were out and about most of the day but did all of our own cooking instead of eating out. There is everything you need plus some! The bedding was great and I really appreciated all the throw blankets and comfy pillows. You can tell that Karen has thought of every scenario. We formed great memories here that my husband and I will look back on with fondness for many years. We came to Bristol for the nighttime NASCAR race. We absolutely loved staying at the loft in a town that has so much history and character! The loft was approximately 10 min from the speedway. The spacious, well designed/decorated living quarters provided comfort and the gracious host supplied coffee, snacks, toiletries, etc. to add unexpected convenience to an amazing experience. We were able to walk and enjoy a variety of quality restaurants for our meals and take an easy 20 minute drive to South Holston Dam for a breathtaking nature experience. Karen thought of everything including providing written notes on how things work, bottled water, spices, tums and even incidentals in the bathroom. The place was spotless and included nice linens and plenty of blankets. The location on the strip was great. We felt very safe and were able to walk from the loft to good restaurants, coffee shops, bars bakeries and antique shops. I recommend staying here and going to fudge shop under the loft as well as Bear Necessiteas for great lattes! I worked from the loft for 3 days and had no issue with internet connectivity or finding food and coffee. When not working, we were able to explore a few nearby lakes and caves.
