Perfect spot for our chill bachelorette party

Wonderful Home
I don't think I've ever stayed at a cleaner rental property. It's a great house to have separate sleeping areas away from the gathering areas. Everything you need is included, the house is well stocked and feels like a home. Amazing view of Lake Michigan to wake up to and just steps from the beach. We would recommend this property to anyone staying in the New Buffalo area.

Coast-to-coast family vacation
Great home with lots of space for our family that traveled from NY to Seattle for a week on the lake! The house was well provisioned and we had good communication with the owner. 2-block walk to the beach was hard to beat and the hot tub, fire pit, and screened in porch were all put to good use. A great vacation home!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We have 11 in our family with plenty of room and comfort. We enjoyed hanging out at the house. Spent a lot of time on screened in porch and kitchen/family room. Short walk to a beach. Only about 10 minute drive into main town of New Buffalo. Warren Sand Dunes about 20 minute drive- loved the hiking there. Good communication with property manager. Great time by all. Thank you!

NB Vacay 2023
We enjoy this day mainly because it was near the lake. Because we had booked it late in the season we did not get right on the lake, but the short walk was no problem. The house was accommodating with the different families involved would like to have had one more bed in the basement. There were a lot of steps for me grandma but I survived. We love the porch off of the kitchen and the large table in the dining area love the outdoor fire pit which we used every night. Have no complaints about anything with the house.

Great views of Lake Michigan!
The house was very nice and well suited for three families with teenagers to have some fun together! We cooked meals, played games, and of course enjoyed our time on the beach. Lake Michigan is a short walk away to a very nice beach! The views of the lake from the house were spectacular! We would definitely recommend the house!

Great girls weekend
This property was in a great location with stunning views of the lake and amazing sunsets. Although the beach access point across the street was closed for restoration it was a quick walk down the block where there is plenty of beach to use. The house was as described and we enjoy all the great outdoor spaces, hot tub and fire pit were great!

Great house for a big group
Tripti’s place was the perfect home base to celebrate my sisters birthday weekend with family and friends! The location was great, just a short walk to the beach and an amazing view of the lake from the porch and balcony. There was tons of space for our large group and the house was well stocked with towels, blankets, and all the kitchen supplies we could possibly need. Check in was seamless and easy, and Tripti was extremely responsive. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to come back sometime in the summer!

A few issues
Potentially good location when construction around home is done. Strong tobacco odor upon entering home. Sheets and towels had musty mildew odor. Nice kitchen and common area. Sorry to say…..We will not go back to this house for our fall family gatherings.

I am sorry to hear that you felt you had issues during your stay. We have welcomed renters to this home for over 10 years and have a 4.9 star rating with over 165 reviews. We did not hear from you re any odors or issues with the linens during your stay. If we had, I would have sent someone to check it out and freshen things up if necessary. It's a non smoking house and we have never had a complain about the linens or cleanliness. Regarding "construction work", the only work being done is landscaping outdoors and it does not affect the usable outdoor areas, including the firepit and walkways.

Beautiful house and views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for my sister's bachelorette party. The house was clean and spacious (beds for the whole group!) with great amenities and a spectacular view of the lake. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. We also had a lot of fun going out in New Buffalo- the town surprised me (lots of people out and about late!) We hope to be back soon!

Lake Michigan Perfection
This house was perfect for a family get away! The property had everything we needed, including some extras rentals don't often have. The screened in porch was perfect for early morning coffee and later night family time and the upper deck was great for sunset. Although not on the water directly, the views were stunning. There was plenty of space for our family to spread out and be comfortable. The kids especially liked the first floor space and ping pong table. The neighborhood reminded us of Northern Michigan and the beach up the road was quiet and had the best skipping stones. We would definitely stay here again and are already looking at dates for next summer.

Family gathering
This property is ideal for a couple of families to gather at the lake and enjoy all manner of indoor and outdoor time together. The kitchen, dining area and great room are optimal for everyone to be with one another. There are also plenty of spots to rest, or to enjoy a relaxing view of Lake Michigan. Loved the fire pit, swing and all the amenities.

Couldn’t be nicer, but…
This was an absolutely beautiful and marvelous home! It could not have met our needs as a family better. Spacious, comfortable, inviting, and the best were all words used by the family to describe this property. The owner was unusually gracious and kind in dealing with any issue that arose. He also provided wonderful hospitality gifts that the family oohed and aahed over. The but in the title has to do with beach access in front of the property being washed out and the constant construction going on across the street. The owner really couldn’t do anything about either of these. But both served as significant disappointments during our stay.

There is a beach access a couple of blocks from the house. There is also nice area to sit and a bench at the top of the dune directly in front of the house. The Village calls that the sunset spot since you can see beautiful sunsets from there. The beach access in front of the house did erode a couple of years ago and due to shifting sand, the village has not yet been able to repair it. We state this clearly on the site and in later communications so our guests are aware before then book their stay. Our other guests have been happy to have the nearby access.

Great family retreat!
House was great and neighborhood was beautiful. We loved having the guest house to create separation when needed, but the main house was a great place for the entire family to come together. Views of the lake are incredible!

Spacious lake views
I rented this home for my 40th bday. We had a party of 8 adults staying in the home and soooo much space! Great home for groups to gather to play games, cook meals, lounge, enjoy the AMAZING ocean like views. My husband is a home chef and had plenty of equipment to make meals for our group. Home was very clean, host was very responsive and accommodating, they even left us a nice welcome gift in the fridge! Location was so great. Close to town but gorgeous private neighborhood great for morning and evening walks. We had a wonderful stay my only wish is that we could have been at the house more days but my budget didn’t allow 😆. Highly recommend this home!!

Perfect family vacation home
Despite the home not being ready for their listed 4PM check-in (was 4:20 before cleaning crew were done), everything was spectacular. Home had everything you would need! Very spacious and roomy for our family of 11! Will definitely be back and definitely recommend!!! Great communication with the Host too!!! Perfect Group Getaway
This was an ideal property for an adult getaway. With the variety of rooms, the extra carriage house, and the spaces it was perfect for everyone to have enough space to be alone and also together. I would absolutely recommend this space.

Peaceful Oasis in Michiana
The hosts of this rental take such care in communicating with their guests. We have a large family and the house was spacious enough for all of us. This plus the surrounding activities (blueberry picking, sailing, biking, breweries, ice cream and beach) made for the perfect getaway. The home is so inviting and spacious. The hosts have gone above and beyond to have a kitchen and common areas suited for entertaining and have invested in touches throughout the home to enhance the guest experience. We can’t wait to go back!

The house is perfect, like all the other reviewers state. While not a dealbreaker for us, the beach access across from the house is permanently closed. The lower half of the stairs are gone and massive boulders and tractor tires have been brought in to limit further erosion. So access directly across from the house as shown in the pictures is currently gone, rather than may be closed due to high water. You can access the beach walking up hill about .2 miles. So, not a big deal for adults but harder if you have little kids.

Amazing Beachouse with Spectacular Views!
What a great house! Since the moment we walked into the property, it was even better in person than the pictures! It is close to town but you don't even need to leave because the house is so amazing! There is plenty of space, a great four seasons room and a wonderful fire pit that was fully stocked with fire wood! Will definitely let my family and friends know about this gem of a property!

This house was perfect for our 14 ladies touring wineries to celebrate our bride-to-be. Beautiful property with all necessities covered! Massive windows off the living room really showcase the beautiful Michigan sunset over the lake. Truly an “Instagram worthy” experience!! The whole house is well thought out, and we personally loved the spacious and well-lit bathrooms that made it easy for all of us to get ready at the same time. Tripti was wonderful to work with and responded to my questions/messages so promptly. Check in/out was easy and efficient! Definitely recommend this spot and would love to come back. Immaculate home with the best view!
We had a wonderful long weekend at Tripti’s place. We were a party of 6 with two young children. We all enjoyed ourselves greatly, from the fun game Room to the fully equipped kitchen. We had absolutely everything we needed. The host has gone above and beyond to provide a great experience for all. The treats and items such as shampoo, hand soap, etc. are all much appreciated! The location is fabulous - a short drive to either downtown New Buffalo or Michigan City. The only negative is that there is no longer beach access due to recent erosion and high water levels. This was of course no ones fault but my kids were a bit disappointed. Do not hesitate to rent this place. We hope to return someday! Thank you!

This is a beautiful property. Since it is Covid, we cooked all our meals in the house. It is fully supplied from kitchen to bathrooms to family room. There is literally nothing missing. The windows provide a breathtaking view of the lake. Even in the winter, it is amazing. We did several walks and played card games and board games. It was really enjoyable.

Stunning home with all of the amenities we needed! We would definitely come stay here again!
The house was perfectly clean and cozy upon arrival. The owner left a tray of treats and wine for our stay. There were 10 of us and ample room for everyone, including the apartment above the garage. Kids had fun with a ping pong and arcade tournament, playing in the snow, and walking the shoreline. We also spent one day visiting Notre Dame...plenty to do in the area while things are still shut down.

Gorgeous house and view that was perfect for our family!
This house was a perfect getaway to celebrate my sisters 40th birthday. My mom was able to have her 4 daughters, son in laws, all her grandkids and a great granddaughter here. Besides the house, and the view of the beach, we enjoyed the basement activities and the bonfire pit. The owner was so responsive and always helpful. We definitely hope to be staying here again!
