POSITION: Just 50 yards along a woodland path to the sheltered Pouldon creek on the Aven estuary, where you could launch and keep a small boat, and where there is a secluded sandy cove, and slightly further to main beach of Port Manec'h, with its sailing schools at the mouth of this very pretty estuary. About 500 yards to the harbour, local shops, restaurants and tennis courts;About three miles from Nevez for all your shopping needs and restaurants;Five miles to the pretty artists' town of Pont-Aven. Quietly situated in an exclusive residential area amongst woods and backing on to fields, the house stands in a very attractive garden well stocked with flowers and shrubs and with a lawn sloping down to small wood at the bottom. There is a big stone paved terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. ACCOMMODATION: Tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished to provide spacious accommodation. The large open plan living room, with french windows opening onto the terrace, has a sitting area around the fire-place, dinning table and chairs and modern, well equipped kitchen area, behind a bar. WIFI, satellite TV and video. Also on the ground floor is a laundry room, separate wc and double bed room with ensuite bathroom and french windows onto the terrace. Upstairs is a large landing providing a second sitting area, ideal for children, with sofa, additional TV and video. Also upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, a bathroom and separate wc. 1 cot and one high chair are available. Cette maison présente les conditions requises pour loger dix personnes avec, de plus, une terrasse ouverte sur un espace naturel. Il faut cependant noter que de nombreuses mises à niveau seraient souhaitables pour répondre aux besoins des résidents ( ustensiles de cuisine, verres, couverts, chaises, réfrigérateur supplémentaire manquant, séchoir à linge tombé en panne, table de jardin peu solide....). Der erste Eindruck innen ist ein etwas moderiger Geruch, welcher wohl bedingt durch die Bauweise im Zusammenspiel mit der feuchten Meeresluft entsteht (wir hatten tolles Wetter und konnten Dauerlüften). Wohn- und Esszimmer sind ansprechend eingerichtet. Die Küchenausstattung ist soweit ok aber nur 1 kleines Schneidbrett, 1 grosses für Brot. Richtig scharfe Messer gibt es nicht, also am besten selbst welche mitbringen. Geräte sind soweit alle da und funktionieren. Die Bäder sind aus den 1990ern und haben ihre beste Zeit schon hinter sich, aber sie sind sauber. Was es weder im Bad noch in der Küche oder in den WCs gibt, sind Handtuchhalter. Das ist sehr unpraktisch!! Das untere Schlafzimmer ist etwas moderner eingerichtet, die anderen sind eher altmodisch/praktisch. Auf der Terrasse gibt es zur Anzahl der Betten und Gäste zu wenig Holzstühle. Wir haben mit welchen aus dem Esszimmer aufgestockt. Ausserdem hat es nur zwei Liegen. Zum Flussufer sind es ca. 5 Fussminuten, zum Strand ca. 10 Minuten. Gute Ausgangslage für schöne Ausflüge. Insgesamt hatten wir (2 Familien) eine schöne Woche dort. ##### Kerstin D.
