Large (1,000sf) and sunny 1-bedroom private house in downtown Nevada City with newly installed luxury vinyl plank hardwood floors, split AC/heat unit makes the home CLEAN and a perfect temperature year round, and newly updated bathroom with vanity. Home is nestled in a charming Victorian neighborhood. Private, yet mere minutes to local restaurants, shops and parks. Reverse-style living means entry, bathroom and bedroom are at the entry level and the kitchen, dining area and living room are on the 2nd floor overlooking beautiful surrounding grounds (must be able to climb stairs). Home includes a sunny living area with a couch, day bed with pull out trundle (for additional sleeping spaces), desk, dining table with room for 4, and a simple, but spacious kitchen (full fridge, stove, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee pot with Organic coffee beans PLUS coffee press and all the necessities for preparing meals. A 2nd story balcony with gorgeous views is just off the living area (views of Pioneer Park). Downstairs (entry level) you’ll find a separate king bedroom has access to a covered porch. Bed has down comforter. Bathroom is located downstairs close to bedroom/entry and has a shower stall only. • Complimentary coffee (Organic Whole Coffee Beans) & tea. • Toaster, fridge, full stove/oven, blender, microwave, dishes, and basic cooking supplies. •High Speed Wifi •Bose Bluetooth speaker for your music pleasure! • Flat screen smart TV, NO Cable (you can stream apps if you are a member of them) • Iron & ironing board • Hair dryer • Shampoo, conditioner, body wash • Egyptian cotton towels • Day bed located in the living room with twin memory foam mattress PLUS trundle with additional twin memory foam mattress. • King Bed with 100% cotton sheets and down comforter. Parking for the unit is in the gravel spot to the right of the unit (off-street and just a few steps from the front door). Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: This house is connected to a garage. You may hear the garage door open and close from time to time inside the house but it will always be during awake hours (7am to 9pm). Loved the town and neighborhood. Kitchen was very well stocked. Very comfy bed. Didn't particularly care for the fact we couldn't wear our shoes in the house. The only negative thing was there were numerous nails in the drive where we parked. Other that that it was a lovely place to stay. ##### Cynthia L. Nice house just a short walk away from downtown nevada city easy keypad access made the check in very smooth. Nice set up in the kitchen nice bedding and towels. My only problem was Some of the coffee creamer in the refrigerator was old and curdled the so when I tried to put it in my coffee, I got a surprise so I just decided to go downtown and get a cup of coffee at a local café. ##### james w. We enjoyed sitting on the porch outside for some chocolate after dinner. It was a bit of a walk back from town since it is mostly uphill, but we really enjoyed relaxing. The pictures are essentially what you get. Like many places there is a list of chores as well as a cleaning fee. ##### Trisha H. This was a great property in a charming neighborhood. We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed in for dinner, due to the weather but the oven seemed very old and we had to guesstimate cooking time/temperature. A few new baking sheets or baking dishes would have been helpful. Make sure to review all of the rules to help keep this property available. The neighborhood is not 100% accessible due to uneven sidewalks, large cracks and small spaces. Parking on the property could be difficult for larger SUVs. ##### Jacquie M. Cleanliness is a top priority for me when I stay at an ABNB or VRBO and I was pleased to find the space was immaculate. Some of the furniture is dated but it is evident that the hosts take great pride in ensuring their guests have a clean and organized place to stay. The small kitchen was well stocked with quality utensils and pans. The neighborhood itself is charming and I enjoyed walking down the hill to explore what Nevada City has to offer. Obviously, walking up the hill was a little more strenuous but not too bad. I would stay again. ##### Fran M. The place was like stepping back in time, with old-fashioned vibes all around. The place we stayed in was cozy and decorated in a really cool way that fit with the town's history. The bed was comfy, and the blankets were soft, so we slept well. Plus, the place was spotless and super clean. The best part was how close we were to the town's downtown area. The host even gave us tips on where to go, which was awesome. We had a little kitchen area where we could make breakfast, and the living room was nice for hanging out at night. It had books and games to keep us entertained. Overall, staying at the Vrbo was a blast. It was a cool place to stay while exploring the town. We'd totally go back again someday. The host was awesome! She always replied quickly whenever we needed anything. ##### Tracy A. Great location and they answered immediately whenever we called. There were a few things I think can be improved. 1\. The light bulbs in the kitchen need to be changed out for a much brighter one. 2.we were unable to get to the Home Screen on the TV and were only able to access the Netflix of whom ever used the TV last. Not a huge big deal just an adjustment needing to be fixed. 3\. For me if I’m paying a cleaning fee I would prefer not to have to do the dishes. ##### Jennifer Y.
