We went on a rainy weekend and thought it was perfect. Looking out the huge windows to the beautiful trees with the lake poking through. The hot tub surround by cafe lights. It was peaceful. Far enough to be secluded but close enough to adventure to the cute little town of Nevada City. Plenty to explore and plenty to do. Easy and constant contact with host made the process easy.
