Perfect stay!

This is a beautiful property - one of the best I have stayed in. The house is very well built and the finishes are high end. Beds are very comfortable. Very quiet location. I was a bit concerned about 1 heating unit for the whole house, but it kept all the rooms warm. We had a fantastic time and will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Weekend Away!

We completely enjoyed are weekend! The property is just as described and the owners are very friendly and make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The area is peaceful and surrounded by trees so you feel as though no one is around you. The hot tub is a great addition. We began and ended our days relaxing in it. We loved the home and hope to sneak away here again soon!

Thanksgiving in the hills

I highly recommend this beautiful cabin in the woods. It was built and furnished with pride, and it shines. I appreciate that it is supplied with all the amenities yiu coujd need. We could not have been more comfy and private, yet close to the lake, Nevada City, etc. We will certainly be back. Thank you to the owners for taking pride in a lovely place for people to stay.

very nice home, close to Tahoe and local lake- home is new, has all that one needs, hot tub big and clean, wonderful inside and yard front/back with large open deck. Manager super responsive, helpful but respects your privacy. Really put a lot of love and care into the house. Have great ideas of local attractions. Hope to return soon!

We rented this place for two nights for our anniversary. It is a beautiful home, set on a peaceful landscape. The hot tub was an amazing bonus. The owners are great. We met with their son Jonah. Perfect Getaway

VRBO photos don't do this place justice - it's even better than advertised! It was in pristine shape and was perfect for the two of us during our "snowed in" stay, with an extra bedroom and bathroom available for a couple more if needed. Vince and his son Jonah were extremely helpful hosts. They lived nearby and were always quick to respond when questions arose. Although the entire area was blacked out due to severe storms, their generator provided constant power throughout our stay. We hope to return in the summer!

Perfect place to get away!

The location of this property is perfect if you are planning to recreate on the lake, go mountain biking, or spend your time in Grass Valley or Nevada City, which are just 15 minutes away. The house is fresh and immaculate. The outdoor spaces make this house unforgettable. Sip coffee on the back porch, grill and eat at the table on the patio, swing in the hammock, or gather round the fire pit. Owners are pleasant and willing to bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable. I’ll be back!

The perfect getaway place with plenty of amenities and privacy

My husband and I stayed here for 3d2n during the 4th of July long weekend. We were looking for a property with good wifi, hot tub, and outdoor bbq grill that's surrounded by natures AND allows maximum social distancing during this pandemic -- this place checked all the boxes! Check-in was easy where we met the owner who also live on the property but at the other end of the land. We were explained the rules and they answered our questions. Afterward, we had all the privacy that we wanted for this trip. We loved staying here, everything is as pictured in VRBO. We wished that we could've stayed longer!

A pure delight

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of spending 10 days and nights in Rene and Vince's beautiful, comfortable home. It is obvious that both Rene and Vince have great pride in their rental home. It is extremely comfortable and clean. The aesthetics from outside the home to inside are appealing. Anniversary Get-Away

This property exceeded our expectations! Not only were we met by the owner and given a walk-thru of how things worked and where things were, he even had a lit up Christmas tree in the house, waiting to greet us. The kitchen was stocked as if it were my own house, including sparkling waters, coffee, and tea! Everything you need to cook was on site. The house was spacious, gorgeous, and clean. So fun to enjoy the movie library and the beauty outside of every window was exceptional. The house is private, yet close to town. The hot tub was functional and warm upon arrival, easy to use. Can't say enough good things. Hope to be back!

Amazing home, best owners in the world

We came to Nevada City to be with John's dying sister. Our sad visit was helped immensely by our stay in the lovely home in the pines with the most caring and helpful owners imaginable. The home is beautiful. The furnishings top quality and artfully coordinated. Most importantly for us, the house offered great comfort and spaciousness. Everything is perfectly appointed. The windows which are large and bring in the beauty of the yard, yet also screen out the UV rays, so the home stays cool during even the hottest days. We could not have asked for a better accommodation, and the owners" sincere efforts to provide anything we needed was remarkable! We recommend this home more highly than any we have ever stayed in!

Great Place to Stay in Nevada City

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay in this home. The owner's son, Jonah, met us promptly at our check-in time and gave us a helpful orientation to the house and area. The house itself was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable (we didn't use the 2nd bedroom), and both showers and all other appliances and fixtures worked well. It is in a quiet wooded location, yet only an 8-minute drive to downtown Nevada City. The covered back deck was a great spot to sit and read, and at night, the hot tub melted away the soreness from long hikes we took. The owner, Vincent, really went the extra mile to help us so that we could spend a morning kayaking on a pretty local lake. All in all, we highly recommend this home. Thank you, Vincent and Jonah, for taking such good care of us!

Quiet Getaway

This was a great home base for exploring the area! After a 5 minute orientation, we were able to enjoy everything the place had to offer. My daughter and I came here to decompress after a stressful spring. The location is among beautiful trees and is very quiet. The house furnishings are lovely. The kitchen (which we didn't use much) is fully stocked with quality utensils and small appliances. The hosts are very welcoming, meeting us to explain all the features of the property, providing NA beverages and coffee and even stopping by with homemade cookies!! Although we didn't use the hot tub, we did inspect it. It is perfectly maintained - no foul odor or color from poorly tested water. Easily accessible location from Hwy 20.
