Epic views of mountains and the Yuba River 8 minutes to Nevada City

Enjoy a peaceful stay at this 1-bedroom house located just 8–10 minutes from downtown Nevada City, featuring expansive mountain views and a sweeping vista that includes a visual stretch of the Yuba River from the porch. In the evenings you can hear the gentle rumbling of the river below. The wide, open views make this a rejuvenating place to stay.

The bedroom features a comfortable (1) queen bed and working desk. There is a huge living room and an extra sleeping space with a (2) queen canopy bed and a (3) traditional Japanese futon bed with a river view. There is an upstairs full bathroom and a downstairs half bathroom. The house has an expansive atmosphere on top of a ridge with 280 degree views (which are hard to capture with photos).

The grand kitchen is a single-room dining area, making it a comfortable setting for small meals or intimate gatherings such as an anniversary dinner or a quiet birthday celebration with friends. Whether relaxing indoors or exploring nearby, this excellent home provides a calm retreat.

The North and West boundaries of the property are Yuba State Park. There aren't hiking trails, but you have a view of the final climb to the top of a mountain.
