Very nice property in a excellent location in Simpson Bay. Rooms are large, good kitchen set up in the rooms, excellent restaurants and great people. I'd certainly stay again with my only two complaints being that the gym carries a $6 per use cost (I was under the impression it was included in the room cost - $6 is cheap but a little annoying that it's not included) and the really awesome bar right on the water closes a little before sunset. It would be really fun if that bar stayed open an hour after sunset.

The property is beautiful, especially the beach—absolutely breathtaking and picturesque. We even watched planes land directly overhead. The cats throughout the property were another highlight; we loved seeing our favorites every day. Unfortunately, the stay was overshadowed by several issues. Our room and the entire 8th floor had a horrible smell. We reported it, but nothing was done. The biggest disappointment was Cantina Restaurant. We were a party of nine, and Abby was our waitress. Our food sat getting cold while she served three other large groups that arrived after us. We eventually had to ask two other staff members for help, and by then our food was cold. I have never experienced such poor restaurant service and strongly recommend additional hospitality and guest-service training. On a positive note, the buffet staff were wonderful—warm, kind, attentive, and welcoming. The drinks were also disappointing. Aside from the canned beer and champagne, most tasted watered down and were not worth ordering. Overall, this property has incredible potential and a stunning location, but the service and quality control need significant improvement. The beautiful beach and wonderful buffet staff were definite highlights, but the unresolved room odor and poor Cantina experience seriously impacted our stay.
