I can’t say enough good things about Mountain Haus. It’s gorgeous, while warm and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked (loves the coffee maker!), the appliances are top-of-the-line and bed sheets were maybe the softest I’ve ever slept in. The views are outstanding and it’s quietly perched above town. We loved having the garage space to store our skis. We are already planning a trip back to the Mountain Haus in the summer to enjoy more of Nelson and that huge patio! Beau was an excellent host and quick to reply to any questions we had. This home is like a luxury treehouse! It’s perched high above Nelson with absolutely stunning views. The sunsets were gorgeous from this spot. Lutron lighting, heated bathroom floors, beautiful showers and a nicely appointed kitchen are some highlights. It’s extremely clean and has a wonderful comfy large sofa for watching TV or the fire. Even though it’s up high, it is still just minutes from all the shops etc. The property is somewhat tricky to get up to. pack light as you go up a lot of stairs! We recommend backing into spot as you have to stay to the right of the parking pad and that worked best! You have an easy time leaving doing this. We got the hang after one day.
