Stayed at this property for a short Universal trip. The location is great. It was one adult and two teenagers, so we got a two room suite. Lots of room and very clean. The pool area was nice as was the dock and the little arcade was a fun addition. Definitely a location we’ll return to for future trips and one I’d recommend if you have older kids and need space.
Two things guests should be aware of: 1. The shuttle is very limited and not really helpful if you’re trying to get the most park hours.
However, the location is close enough that Uber was reasonable so we didn’t mind. 2. The cafe/bar has short hours (closed by 3) and for breakfast they had one guy working. He was doing great, but it still took so long to get sandwiches and coffee that we decided to make breakfast in the suite the rest of the time. Definitely not a deal breaker for us as the cost, location, and overall quality was worth it, but something to be aware of.
I’m sure we’ll be back soon.
