We loved our stay at The Small House. It was clean, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed our walk to the river behind the house and hope to come back to enjoy it in warmer weather!
An amazing place. Very homely, well appointed, very helpful host. The garden, field and wooded area down to the river would be amazing for children (and dogs!). There is lots to do in the area, and places to shop and eat within walking distance. Highly recommended.
The Small House was perfect for our family of five. The kids loved the upstairs bedrooms and the two downstairs bedrooms had everything we needed. The kids also loved saying hi to the chickens every morning! Great location across the street from the IGA and right down the road from several breweries and hikes.
We enjoyed a most cozy and comfortable stay at this lovely home on the “Brew Ridge Trail.”
It was a perfect place to unwind before heading north on I-81 to Ontario. Steps from the Rockfish River as well as a grocery store, we didn’t have to travel far to take advantage of local trails or a wonderful variety of local fare at the numerous restaurants/breweries/cidery. Having the vista of the mountains was beautiful and Jennifer was great about setting us up for a short, but wonderful stay. We look forward to returning to this special place in the Rockfish Valley.
The Small House was more than I expected bathroom wise. Very much updated and the immensities were very much appreciated. Took a walk to the creek which was an unexpected surprise of how vast it was and the clearing was nicely kept. A gem in the Wintergreen area
