Walk out the back patio and right to the slopes. Leave your skis on custom ski rack on the back porch when done. Enjoy five minute or less walk to the Wintergreen Lodge, Treehouse childcare or ski school, The Edge & Copper Mine Bistro restaurants via resort sidewalk. This unit is perfect for families with children of all ages in all seasons. The unique location offers direct line of sight to the Blue Ridge Express ski lift from the back porch or the comfort of the den couches. This provides a great meeting spot for the family or allows parents to keep an eye on the older kids every time they come up the ski lift. Need a break - get straight off the lift and walk 50 yards directly into the back patio with keyless entry! New as of November 2020: Awesome Modern Flames electric fireplace with multiple lighting settings and thermostat. Ceiling fan in the master. New washing machine. New LED zoned ceiling lighting throughout. New wood plank ceiling in the den area for a really cozy cabin feel while you watch the skiers and hang out by the fireplace. Unit was redone in 2017 to include, hardwood floors, built-ins, newly installed heating and cooling, and crown molding though out. Lovely granite adds just the right touch to the newly updated kitchen with custom cabinets. The bathrooms have been upgraded to include a walk in showing in the master. Enjoy watching the skiers through new windows as you sit in reconstructed fireplace/den area. Unique layout makes efficient use of all available space and has several seating areas. The den area has a pull out sofa, unobstructed views of the Blue Ridge Express ski lift, and slopes. Nearby is a TV watching area with sectional sofa. There is bar seating in the kitchen, and a small dining table beside the kitchen. Ultra convenient parking space directly beside the private front door entrance with minimal stairs. Unique parking space easily accommodates large SUV. Queen bed in master. Twin over twin bunk beds and a full bed in the second bedroom. Bedding, blankets, and pillows are kept in like new condition. Full size pull out in the den area. 50" smart TV in main room, and TV's in both bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with glasses, silverware, Keurig, 12 cup coffee maker, pancake griddle, and lots of pots and pans. Unit comes with a washer and dryer. Owners are local and frequently use the unit. Cleanliness, modern amenities, convenience, comfort, fun, and relaxation are priorities. \*Covid and linens/towels. Feel free to bring your own if you are more comfortable doing so. However, as of now, we will continue to provide 4 towels and bedroom sheets. Due to linen shortages and different cleaning requirements, our management company cannot provide additional linens or towels. Please plan to bring what you need if you require more. As many previous reviews have stated, this condo was beautifully clean, thoughtfully stocked and perfectly located. Our family of five had a fantastic weekend skiing easily in and out of this cozy condo. Unfortunately the gas fireplace was not operational over the weekend, as it would have really added to the ambience, but the regular heating system kept us warm. Plenty of space for our family of four. The pictures don't fully capture how bright and open it is. To ski, you just walk a few yards to the snow line and hop on the slopes. Keep in mind there is no washer/dryer so you will need plenty of clean dry clothes/parkas/ski pants. Other than that, the condo is well equipped. We had a great time! ##### Heather A. Perfect location and place for our family of four! Kids had a blast in the backyard building a snowman and the ski-in/ski-out accessibility of the condo made getting out on the slopes super easy! The pictures on VRBO really do not do it justice. This place is truly ski-in-ski-out and the Blue Ridge Express lift is actually much closer than it appears in the picture. The condo had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen and baths and the living space is very comfortable. We would definitely book this place again! ##### Mark B. Its proximity to the green trails, slopes and the lift make it perfect for families with new skiers or snowboarders. The condo is so extraordinarily well stocked, cozy, and perfect for little kids. We love the new fireplace and the incredible open windows and views. We just love this place so much!! Cannot wait to come back for our third yearly trip! ##### Claire W. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this condo! Great location, comfortable bed, great kitchen, cozy living room and tv area, parking spot close to front door, and of course the patio and the views! Communication from the property manager was excellent - very responsive and he had also contacted us about something in the unit that needed attention and he was able to take care of it prior to our arrival. We highly recommend this unit as a place to stay as we had such a wonderful vacation! We are already trying to figure out when we could go back next year! ##### Albert T. The home featured the many amenities important and helpful for families with children: ample storage and hooks for handling the many snow and skiing accoutrements; cocoa Keurig cups and canned soup for fast, warm meals; large sectional sofa for snuggling after a busy and cold day; and proximity to the Upper Dobie lift and children’s Tree House for those early morning ski lessons. There also was a fair amount of snow right outside the home’s patio for impromptu snow play. The ski in/ski out was spot on: very convenient to walk off the lift for a short rest or snack. Parking was incredibly convenient too making arrival and departure fast and easy. The second bedroom had ample room for our two children but could have hosted four comfortably. Overall such a wonderful home. Perfect for our family and we really cannot wait to come back soon! ##### Claire W. The condo had everything you would need for a family vacation and was large enough to accommodate our family of 5\. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the main ski lift and the ski school. Very short walk to the slopes. It has a well equipped kitchen. The owner really did us a solid enabling us to stay past check out in order for a rain storm to pass so we did bot have to hang out in the lodge or somewhere else. Clean and comfortable, with nice amenities... our only complaint is that the fireplace didn't work.
