After reading reviews, one never knows what to expect. I was very happy and completely satisfied with my stay at the Super 8 motel in Neilsville, WI. I stayed for nine nights and I had no complaints. It is in a nice location, it was clean, and also quiet.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed here, the pool is nice, and the rooms are clean plus the staff is friendly. My only complaint is the breakfast, during a 4 day trip it appeared the same eggs along with the sausage & gravy were repeatedly heated up and served everyday. Thankfully the kids wanted waffles, but I had to settle for yogurt every morning as a result.

Very nice and clean hotel. The only downside was the hot tub was about 80 degrees, it was as cold as the pool.

If you’re considering staying at this property, don’t. I am in town due to my grandma passing away yesterday morning. I checked in last night and am booked until tomorrow. If I wasn’t here under these circumstances, I would be leaving today. We wanted to relax a little bit this morning before going to the funeral home, so we went to the “hot tub”. I quote that because it is NOT a hot tub. The jets were pushing out very cold water. The pool was the same temperature as the hot tub. The hot tub was also completely disgusting. There was grit, dead skin, and a BUG! The pool was not any better. In the corner of the pool there was a bunch of dirt and sand. I’ve never been so disgusted in a hotel pool area. The breakfast is terrible. The biscuits for biscuits and gravy were very stale. You can tell they make a batch and keep using that same batch for days. The gravy was also grainy and tasted old. They also chose to put me in a room right next to the front desk which was noisy. Every noise they make in the office travels to the room. This is the second time they have done that. There was one other car in the parking lot and I have yet to see other people, so you can’t tell me there were no other rooms available. All in all, we are very disappointed and will not be staying here again. I was disappointed last time I stayed here, but I gave it another chance and am equally disappointed. Save yourself the disappointment and stay somewhere else.

Breakfast wasnt great. Waffles tasted weird, pastries looked old, black banana for fruit or warm fruit cups and no cream cheese for bagles. Sausage gravy was grainy and sausage was powdery.

The rooms were clean, but much smaller expected. The breakfast was lacking.... anything good. If you like "scrumble egg", (yes, they spelled scrambled wrong) and sauage gravy with cold dense biscuits, or waffles, stale danishes, and cold cereal, this is the breakfast for you. The ower was nice enough, as in, he wasn't rude or mean. But he wasn't what I would call friendly. Overall, I would stay there again. But I'd get a suite, and bring my own food.

This hotel as exactly what we needed for a one-night stay. Hotel is spotless. Breakfast choices very good. Helpful & pleasant front desk person. I highly recommend this hotel in you’re in the Neilsville, Wisconsin area.

The hotel was easy to find. Clean and perfect for the quick one night stay we needed. The beds were comfy and pillows okay - not bad but have slept on better. Quiet area and easy to fall asleep. Would recommend the blackout shades the fit in the window frames as a worthwhile upgrade to block some of the parking lot light from rooms on that side.

Very clean and comfortable. Desk clerk very nice. The only negatives were no elevator for second floor guests, bathtubs are not non-slip and breakfast items not replenished.

Asked for early check-in and was told YES. Arrived and they did not have a room ready. Came back at check-in time and no one was at the front desk. Pillows were 14" square pillows. I little odd, but they worked. Bed was comfortable. During busy morning breakfast and check out, no one was at the front desk.

(closed) Spa full of dead bugs, (open) pool has several dead bugs I saw AFTER my children and I were swimming (same beetle-like bugs that were in the spa), light fixture in the bathroom or our room was full of dead bugs... Hallways have an unpleasant odor, stairwell has an unpleasant odor, A/C was off in our room upon arrival so we came in to an 80′ room, NO ELEVATORS?! Unlocked staff room doors, unlocked pump room door in pool area, side entrance door has to be pulled closed you actually latch and be secured, mattress had a brown stain, stained towels, we booked a 3 bed room for our family of 6 but we're only given 1oz of shampoo? The dead bugs alone make me not want to return despite this hotel being a good financial choices for my family
