Great central location on Petenwell lake, within minutes of both Wilderness County and Veteran’s boat launches. House was clean and had everything we needed for our trip, kitchen was well stocked with adequate cooking utensils and dishware. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles with atv trailers. As a fishing couple, we enjoyed the cabin very much. We like that the cabin is in the woods and has easy access for boat to be stored in the driveway close to the house. We did find the electrical outlets on the outside of the house, one being on the porch and the other behind the brush in front of the house. The inside of the house was very clean and taken care of. The outside of the house could use some work. It definitely needs some landscaping, new roof, paint, eve and gutter work as some of the gutters were hanging on the outside of the house. Probably from snow and or ice during winter. This is my honest review on this cabin. As far as fishing we didn’t do well on the lake, but the river was a different story. We caught some pike, small mouth bass, and walleye. Yesssss!!!!! Great fishing trip!! Thanks you for everything hope all is well. ##### Eric W. Nice remote location near lots of hiking! I liked that it was dog friendly and there was a 3 season porch and two regular porches. Very cozy and well equipped! It was nice to find a property that accepted two dogs and there was plenty of room to setup two dog kennels in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and small appliances.
