"The house and the staff were amazing! The home was beautiful and in a great location regarding park access. The staff was so very accommodating, and even let me check in a little early. If you’re considering staying in an inn, remember that the walls are thinner than a regular hotel. You’re basically sharing a home with others, depending on how many rooms are in the house. Overall, great stay and I would definitely recommend and go back myself."

"Great place! It is in a much smaller town but not too far from Bar Harbor. Perfect for a couple or small family if you want to stay away from the noise that Bar Harbor is known for. The restaurants close earlier than in Bar Harbor. It was perfect for us!"

"Charming and authentic inn with adjacent market where you can buy a lobster dinner until 5:30 pm. Lovely grounds with chairs, tables, grills and a fire pit to use for guests. Even a blueberry bush! The ladies at the market (where you can check-in or obtain additional info) very super helpful and sweet!"

"We were very grateful for our nice place in Northeast Harbor! Our goal in choosing this particular place was to have ready access to Acadia without the touristy energy of Bar Harbor, and that worked out perfectly! The location of the unit was on the Main Street of Northeast Harbor above a small restaurant, and we were aware of that and it posed no issues at all. The unit was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and though the space was small, it suited our purposes (we were out and about all day). I actually think Northeast Harbor provides better access to the National Park than staying in Bar Harbor. Northeast Harbor was very relaxed, and so it was a bit of a shock to get into the park and be faced with unrelenting crowds! It was so nice to return to the quiet little town after all that!"

"Host was friendly and available when needed. Loved the extra touches of snacks, kitchen options, and toiletries if needed. Easy access to trails, short drive into bar harbor, and quiet area to rest from a day exploring. Highly recommend!"

"The apartment was great for what we needed! Only downside was that due to being directly under the roof in the second floor of an older building, it was quite hot during the daytime (the AC units are only in the bedrooms). Regardless it was a great little place!"
